beautiful colors, sheds SO bad

I got this rug in the bright colors. The colors are beautiful and the rug looks fabulous but it sheds SO much. You almost cannot even vacuum it enough to get all of the fuzz balls off of it, and when you do, they're immediately back. This is the first rug from this brand I've had this trouble with.

It is pretty bright and a little “crazy” but good looking area rug. Colors are very close to the picture. I felt like I received what was ordered. The price is excellent. I could say more about the quality after a few months of using it..

This rug is perfect! The colors are very vibrant. The rug is very thick. You could get away without using a pad underneath it. The does shed a tad but that’s to be expected with wool rugs. The rug didn’t have any type of smell to it either. It was all folded up tightly in the packing material. The folds were out by the next morning. We put it down at night. If you need a bright rug to add some color into your space, i recommend this one.

Very cute quality Boho rug

Very nice rug. The colors are well represented in the pictures. Also, the thickness of the rug is good: not too thin not too thick. The pink color is so lovely. The blue as others stated is closer to a teal. I love the Boho feel to it. I wanted to give my room an eclectic feel and this helps with it

The Safavieh Handmade Bellagio Garcia Oriental rug is even more beautiful in person. It is the perfect piece to bring all of my daughter's furnishings together in her new apartment. It came well wrapped and the corners rolled out fairly quickly. Be aware it is very heavy, and it takes multiple passes with the vacuum to cut down on the wool shedding. Update: ****WARNING for pets: We have now had the rug for 3 months and it is shedding badly. Our cat had to be hospitalized due to the copious amounts of fibers that he has ingested and inhaled. My Roomba is constantly getting clogged up from the fibers as well, and despite frequent vacuuming it is not getting any better. It is beautiful, but we have had to remove it from our home.

Absolutely Beautiful…

I don’t know why anyone would give this a bad rating because it sheds. Solving the problem - • Vacuum a couple times after placed. • Sweep more often than once a month or longer. For the ones who rarely sweep and expect to keep up with that same lifestyle. It’s not high maintenance, you’re probably kind of lazy. Common sense. This rug is dense and very beautiful! It also dampens noise and stops echoing.

7ft sq, blue/pink option. LOVE

7ft square Safaviey Bellagion Fronnie Blue/pink. My pictures are not great color wise, bad camera. The "blue" in the center is a teal, rather than the green. Super thick and heavy rug. My 5th Safevieh rug, second wool one. Very plush. Colors pop. I put a woman's size 10 boot in pics for scale of the pattern at this size. I almost got the 6ft instead, but looking at hundreds of pics of decor, rugs, etc, I know you should always size up when it comes to rugs. I personally would NOT put this in a room where the center will be covered up with a coffee table, etc. Don't choose this wool rug if you want to be able to roll an office chair on it, because it is really hard to do so. I have in a large open space in a bedroom and SO glad i went as big as I could fit. If you are rug shopping, read up on how to choose a size, look at pics, etc.because I have seen so many that have gone way too small. If I were putting this in a living room, I would opt for couches right at the edge of the rug, with small side multiple side tables, maybe a very small ottoman, but nothing in the center, it's too pretty and I think it makes a great statement. Oh, really heavy too, so plan for help moving it and getting it in place if you need it. Now I have to get to work on the empty wall next to the bed, can't wait to fill that wall up with things that will echo this rug. Yay!

Surpassed Expectations!

I was looking for a rug that was semi-traditional, but with a modern flare. I was concerned, based on other reviews, that the blue/pink would not be as vibrant as it appears in the photos listed. I am absolutely in love with the rug, and the energy that it brings to my space. This is my second Safavieh rug, and the quality has improved since my first, purchased over five years ago. Also, the rug was not expected to be delivered until January, however, it arrived within a few short weeks.

at first glance i adore this rug. it is dense with cushion and beautiful colors. ties my room together. however i noticed a faint yellow stain on the rug upon unfolding it. i’m pretty bummed but doubt i will go through the trouble of paying to return it for an exchange. as others have said, the wool does shed quite a bit and i wonder if it will lessen over time.

I bought the pink and blue version in the 3' round, which also includes a bright, yellowy orange. It's such a striking and unusual color combination; I love it! I'm not complaining about the size, but I definitely should have measured the turret I bought it for (I'm in the process of moving and was too impatient to wait till the next time I was in the new space) because it can easily accommodate a larger size, which I plan to purchase soon.

Great Color and Quality

This rug is fantastic just as pictured. The colors are vibrant such a nice twist on a traditional pattern just what I was looking for. Very nice quality and looks like an expensive rug. I purchased a 7 foot runner to go on top of another rug to bring more life to a guest room. Really love it and would recommend to my friends.

I heart Safavieh

I LOVE Safavieh rugs! Including this one, I now own 6. I absolutely HATE that propylene-whatever material, so I always buy wool rugs. They cost more but are so worth it. Safavieh wool rugs are great quality (this one is like walking on a cloud) and beautiful as well. I only buy them on sale, so the cost is not bad at all. (And the small dog in the pic, Gigi, approves of this rug as well. She is a softness expert.)

Gorgeous rug, buuuut

This rug is gorgeous. The colors are gorgeous and it’s super plush. BUT, it sheds like crazy. I’ve vacuumed it about 5 times since we got it and the shedding hasn’t improved at all. My couch is completely covered in tiny white fibers. I have to lint roll it several times a day. I’m strongly considering returning the rug because of this. Which is a bummer, because it looks great.

Quality, Truth, about this Wool Rug

I have been a patron and advocate of Overstock for years and they are not aware. I love so many of their items because the picture is truthful, and the reviews truly inspire. This company is truly a great source where one wants to come back always. this beautiful rug I bought last week, it is royal, stunning and a bright part of my life. I had problems with delivery FedEx but not the fault of the company. I want to buy it again but too heavy and beautiful for just me to bring in the house, only if FedEx would bring it directly to my door. Overstock is a winner with their rugs. I am proud! I love mystic, I am thrilled with this gorgeous rug. I am proud to deal with Overstock.

Beautiful Vibrantly Colored Well Made Wool Rugs

I can’t say enough good things about these Safavieh hand tufted wool rugs! Super plush like carpet. I currently have a low pile Berber carpet which will be replaced as soon as I am able, these rugs on top are so plush with no need for pad to keep them in place unless you have hardwood floors. The colors are rich and vibrant as shown in photos. I currently own 8x10, 5x8, and 2 runners. The bigger ones match in color to one another however, the runner is somewhat darker where the cream color is making it more of a khaki tan hue, not a problem for me since the runners are in a different areas being hallway and a bedroom. The rugs shed for a while however, make me happy when I enter the room so not a bad sacrifice for me! No odors or bad chemicals and always arrive in perfect condition and 2 day shipping unless out of stock and then only a week or two. I ordered the teal and pink color making them perfect for a shabby chic decor. If you are hesitant in ordering do so now as they have been for purchase for a while with new items taking their place making stock low. You won’t be disappointed! Hubby even loves them!❤️❤️❤️

Color in photo not accurate!! Darker than shown.

The quality of the rug is very nice - but the colors in the photo do not reflect reality. This rug is DARK (the 'ivory' is more like khaki). Its a 4x6 and the shipping was 'free' and with taxes etc the price was $****. I thought that was fair - until I tried to return it - and the 'cost' of returning it is . Okay - not such a deal afterall - my recommendation - read ALL the fine print. Live and learn in my case.

These rugs really are beautiful. The colors are exactly as shown in the photos and they’re good quality too; thick and plush. I highly recommend purchasing these if you want to add colorful boho vibes to a room. I actually ordered 4 of them in various sizes so I have a full set. Much prettier than the area rugs I bought on ... a few years ago.

Absolutely stunning! Super vivid colors and the photo doesn’t do the quality any justice. This is a thick rug I want to spend time with because the colors and design make me so happy! Could not have asked for a better rug at this price. My first overstock purchase and my first safavieh rug. Both will be getting more of my business as I settle in at my new place. LOVE LOVE LOVE.
