I regret buying this rug!! This rug sheds so much it is unbelievable. I have had it for approximately five months and it sheds so much that my whole house has wool all over it!! I have a Dyson vacuum and vacuum it every day. The canister gets completely filled everyday!! It's mind blowing this rug Has to weigh 20 pounds less than it weighed when I got it!!! it has caused me so much stress trying to keep my house Wool free. Wool is in every room of my house! It is soft and looks nice, but trust me not worth it.
Moldy and Sandy
It came smelling of mold and we had to put it in the sun for a week hoping it would kill the mold. It helped quite a bit. Then it shed sand and continues to - sand everywhere from this rug. When I cleaned it with a carpet cleaner the mold smell got activated again. Now I have a sandy, moldy rug. It is pretty enough.

More beautiful in person than in pictures. Thick, heavy, wool rug with minimal shedding so far. There is an odor which I've noticed with other wool rugs I've purchased in the past. The odor usually dissipates but I haven't noticed it this strong before. I will give it some time to air out and will update my review in a month (I did sprinkle some baking soda on it and let it sit for an hour before vacuuming as another reviewer suggested). Arrived two days after ordering.
The colors are not as intense as the online photos
A nice heavy rug. It was folded for shipping & we had to lay flat to put weighted items on the buckling & creasing areas, which seems to be working. The pattern is nice. The colors are not as intense as the online photo. And I thought it was more brown, than blue. Overall it is a good quality rug, especially for the price.

I love my Safavieh Aspen Lilian Boho Tribal wool rug!! It is beautiful and brings my room together perfectly. It came folded instead of rolled up but it's starting to lay flat so no worries. The colors in the rug are perfect together, there is more blue in the rug than it showed on the website but it's amazing. My room looks very inviting.
Beautiful wool rug!
I was very worried about how the colors were going to work with the other pieces in our bedroom. I was sure the quality was going to be great because I have ordered other Safavids wool rugs from Overstock and they have all been wonderful, but choosing colors on line is so scary. We love the colors and the tassels are a nice addition. Love this rug!
Well made, but strong musty smell
I bought one of the runners and the colours were exactly what I wanted. The tassels on the ends are a nice touch. The only issue was that there was a strong musty smell that lasted for about a month. I put the rug outside for several hours but that didn't help. I then tried sprinkling baking soda on it, leaving it for a while, then vacuuming it up. I did this several times and eventually the smell dissipated.
Beautiful and reasonably priced
This rug is beautiful, thick and warm under foot. While the colors are true to the photo, they are much richer in real life. I purchased this as a house warming gift for my son and he loves it so much, that I purchased another one as well. The quality is amazing and the value can’t be beat.
