Much more yellow in person

I like the look of this rug but it definitely goes a little bit more yellow in person than it does online. I was looking for something more beige/cream with some brown undertones but this goes more yellow in my room. It's not very soft so walking on it without shoes is a little bit uncomfortable but not a deal breaker.

Love it!

Before purchasing the rug, I was skeptical if it would be soft on bare feet. After purchasing and putting it in the bedroom, it’s not only a lot softer than I expected, but it looks fantastic and is just what we wanted. Dimensions and color hold true to the product description.

Beach vibes!! Get the rug!

This is an excellent rug! I put it in my sunroom and I absolutely love it. I’m not sure what rugs the other people ordered who talked about them being dirty but there was nothing wrong with this rug. I’ve added a photo of it at night time - sitting here admiring it and decided to take a photo - order it you are on the fence. It gives a great coastal/beach vibe!

Arrived stained

I wanted to like this rug, other than the stains it matched so well! Unfortunately there was one large, strip of yellowed material and other areas that appeared burned. I attempted to flip the rug over, but the seams of the rug made it very one sided.

waste of money

I despise this rug. It’s impossible to clean. It sheds everywhere. when I vacuum, pieces of it come up out of the rug and now it looks ruined. waste of money. super rough just like a rope. I don’t think I can return it so I’m going to try using it under the dining room table and throw it away when my kids spill something it it.

Okay

This rug is about a half foot smaller in both directions than advertised at 8'x 11', and the quality is so-so. There are many spots where the knots are coming undone and cord had to be tucked in, so I worry about the longevity, but on the bright side, unlike many natural fiber rugs of this nature, it wasn't wet, it didn't smell of mold, and it wasn't excessively dirty/dusty or full of twigs. The only other gripe we had is that it does smell vaguely of chemicals, and since I have MCS, this would have been good to know. We're running the HEPA filter and have the windows open in the hopes that it will air out in a few days, but if the smell doesn't dissipate, I'll update my review. We installed it using washers and screws, which really solves the problem of rug slippage while looking designer in an industrial way. The overall aesthetic is nice, the quality is someone lacking, and the value for the money is okay. Less

I love the size and price of this rug. It isn’t easy to find a rug that is 9’6” x 13’6” that isn’t absurdly expensive. The texture is wonderful and it appears to be well made. There were a few areas where the weaving was a little loose, but the imperfections are part of what makes jute rugs homey. As others have mentioned, there is a smell after unrolling and for a few days after, but then it disappears.

Perfect Size and Aesthetic

I love this rug! I’m a sucker for a jute rug and the 8’x10’ rug was the perfect size for my 9.5’x12.5’ room. I love the variation in color and it isn’t uncomfortable to walk or even stand on with my standing desk (also a great Target find) I am looking forward to finishing putting this room together, I’d purchase this rug again in a heartbeat. There is some shedding but if you vacuum it regularly (without the brush spinning) it should stop shedding.

Carpet came with pulls, I recommend picking it up instead of delivery. I feel like I’m going to need to get a new carpet in a couple of years unfortunately.

Not a Great rug

It's ok, but not a natural light color as seen in the pictures for the Off White rug. I purchased the 6' runner before splurging on a larger size to see the quality and color for myself. Glad I did, would have been disappointed with the larger version. The color is more yellowish than shown, and the shape is not straight, which bugs me. I'll keep it to avoid the return hassle, but will probably replace it next season. I used it for my laundry room.

I have mixed feelings wether to recommend this product or not because the rug is beautiful and it makes justice to the pictures online, but I paid for a 5’ x 8’ and I got a 4.5’ x 7. I’m sorry, but I feel scammed.

Jute Rug

This rug is soft underfoot and seems well made. Also, unlike many natural-fiber rugs, there is NO strange odor.

Poor Quality

Would not purchase again. Upon unrolling the rug from the start there were pulls in the jute. I’ve owned other jute rugs and from those experiences I expected better were from a Macys product.

Filthy Rug

In general, this is an okay jute rug, online pictures are accurate in color and texture. Sizing was pretty close. However, very disappointed to spend $500+ on a rug that arrived filthy and full of debris. We rolled out the rug and dirt fell everywhere. You can see how much black dirt and fibers I had to sweep up after flipping it twice to shake out the dirt. I do not recommend buying this rug.
