Chemical smell won't go away

Whatever they used to prevent mold in this product is preventing me from keeping the thing. I got cotton because nontoxic items are important for me to have in the house, tried to air it outside for several days but didn't help. Other than that, it's a good looking, well made rug! Returning.

I had just purchased a blond wood table and chairs to match what I call contact construction; using contact paper over my kitchen cabinets and backsplash. the carpet I had in under the former table and chairs was dark wood and made the room dreary. this rug is perfect for my taste. one thing I can say about the quality of the rug I have is that I purchased this shortly after rescuing 2 kittens and they have learned not to sharpen those little claws on this rug. they probably do it as soon as I leave the house thought. but for now and Lord knows how many times, this rug has held up and there is no visible area of clawing that I see.

I love it!!! I have two other rugs in the same area of my front hall and family room that are the same color/style just different sizes. They make the whole area so cozy and comfy looking and they are great 'neutrals' even though they have color to them. No boring gray tones!!!

Ordered this carpet and must say this is everything and more. Bought 8x10 safavier braided rug. It's PERFECT. Arrived and it is everything I wanted. Quality,size and price. I will order again in a heartbeat.

HANDMADE BRAIDED JEMIMA COUNTRY RUG

Looked for many months for a braided rug with just the right colors for our country living room. Found it with this SAFAVIEH braided Jemima country rug. Bought the large square one and LOVE it. It laid flat as soon as we unrolled it and great price for the size! Highly recommend for any country theme home!
