Decent

This rug was a decent addition to our sunroom, but it did not hold up as well as I had hoped. Works if you're looking for something temporary.

Not thrilled

Once down on the floor, it has a much more “rustic” look than I expected. There are places where the jute has been attached to more jute during the weaving process and these places create little mounds on the rug. The woven pattern is larger (so more rustic) than I envisioned from the pictures online. I don’t have the ability to wrap it up and drive it to Federal Express to return, and pay to return it so I am keeping it. But I’m not happy with it. It may be perfect for someone else, in a different room, but it’s not for me

Looks like a second

I bought this about four weeks ago, and have tried to like it, but the fringe is very irregular and rug still doesn’t lay flat. Not a nice look for my entry. Will probably move to a different hall, even up the fringe, and purchase a better product for the entry. Too late to return.

Gorgeous rug that sheds terribly and unravels.

I want to love this. It looks great it my living room… it looks really good. BUT the fringe sheds terribly. I sweep and vacuum daily now, and it’s not enough to keep the fuzz under control. I’m replacing it with something similar that is bound on all edges to prevent this never ending mess.

Tasseled jute runner

This rug is beautiful. It’s chunky but soft. It adds that casual look to my bedroom that I was looking for.The darker color is a cool brown or maybe a dark taupe, not red at all. It compliments my bed skirt from Soft Surroundings which was my hope.The fringe is thick and lays flat except for the end on the roll.I used a heat setting on my hair dryer that flattened it out. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

Great rug, bad chemical smell

I love this rug. It fits perfectly in front of our kitchen island and gives it a real farmhouse feel. The only reason for the four stars was that the rug came with an extremely strong chemical smell which required airing it out on the front porch for three days. Other than that, we’re very happy with the purchase.

Sheds everywhere/ Rough fibers

I bought this about a month ago and within a few days started to absolutely hate it. It sheds on everything. Every couch cushion is covered, every pillow or blanket that touches the floor… I’ve vacuumed it many times hoping that the initial shedding would slow down but it’s still awful. There are also very rough patches of unprocessed jute that stick out and knots that are visible all over it. Poorly made all around. So disappointed with this “splurge” and now looking for another rug I can layer over it so I can lessen the shedding. Do not recommend!

Sheds Terribly

When this rug arrived a year ago, I loved it. It matched our home and style perfectly. I however noticed a few weeks later that it sheds constantly. I have had to vacuum daily to keep up on the fibers it sheds. The fibers get all over my clothes, shoes and dogs which then tracks all over the house. If you like vacuuming a lot then this is the rug for you!

Just not the right fit for us

After reading so many positive reviews for this rug, I finally purchased it for our living room. Unfortunately I'd have to disagree with some other customers who said it was great for their living room, high traffic area. The rug is pleasant looking, however it sheds a lot (gets all over our clothes and furniture!) and the fringes look a bit dingy in my opinion.

Sheds worse than a dog and a cat combined. DO NOT buy this.

I loved the style and look of this rug for my space, but I can honestly say that after an entire year of giving it a try in my living room (dark stained hardwood floors), this rug sheds every time you walk on it. Your socks and feet get covered in tiny little blonde hairs with each step then it spreads to the entire living space. At first, I thought it was the initial "shed", but it continued on for a year. The rug is going on the curb for donation or garbage.

Nice rug, not for us

Thought I wanted to join the jute club & after a lot of research settled on this one. It's a nice rug, I just realized jute wasn't for us. If you like jute, I think it was a nice jute. It is very soft, a great price a beautiful warm pattern. I liked the feeling walking on it, but decided it wasn't soft enough to lay/sit on. Also, the weave was a little looser than it appeared and I wasn't crazy about the fact that it appeared slightly dirty. I don't think that is the fault of the manufacturer, just the nature of jute. If you're already a jute fan, I think it's a good choice for the price :)

Chevron Neutral Rug

I needed a large neutral rug for my living room and bought this one for next to nothing. Usually I would be concerned on quality but it came in the mail and is amazing! I have been buying rugs at RUGSUSA for a while now and don't even shop elsewhere. They have the best selection and their prices are unbeatable! I was extremely happy with this chervon rug. It is neutral but still soft unlike most sisal large neutral rugs you see.

Pretty but it is sort of "baggy" and doesn't stay flat.

I got this rug for a bedroom. I put a rubber liner underneath it. Whenever I walk on it, it moves and ripples. I am constantly straightening it out. I do love how it looks but it does not stay flat. It's also pretty rough on bare feet. Not that jute is the softest material but for a bedroom when you're not always wearing shoes, it's not the softest texture to walk on. If I had the option, I would not purchase the rug based on the ripple effect.

Exceeded expectations

I absolutely love this rug. I've had it for a week now in my kitchen. It brings out my floor with its perfect combination of colors, it's thicker than I thought and very soft to walk on. I've had jute rugs before that were shedding a lot and were pretty prickly, but this one doesn't shed as much, it's normal to lose some fibers on a new rug, and is very pleasant to walk on even barefoot. Good quality and every one that comes over asks me about it and compliments my new kitchen look. Overall I'm very satisfied, great runner for a great price.

Almost perfect

The look of this rug is gorgeous. It's soft considering it's natural fibers. I wouldn't pick it for a kids playroom - not that kind of soft - but it's in my family room and works well for bare feet. My only complaint, which I think I will dislike about any natural fiber rug is that it shifts around making bubbles in the carpet. It never lies perfectly flat. Even with a pad under it. But this rug does lie more flat than other jute rugs I've had in the past. For looks it gets an A++!!
