Nice file cabinet

Ordered this to match my office desk and it matches perfectly! Came assembled with the exception of having to attach the wheels and the drawer handles. Took less than 30 minutes to attach everything. Some reviewers indicated it was not put together well but I didn't have that problem. All the drawers were aligned and they slide easily. It was worth the additional cost to have it assembled. File rails were also included for the file drawer. They easily snap on to the sides and back of the drawer. Make sure you position them according to the picture in the instructions otherwise the hanging files won't fit. Shipping was fast. Delivery was excellent. We have four stairs leading up to our front door so I thought they would leave it at the bottom of the stairs but they placed it on the porch. This isn't a lightweight item either so I was very pleased the delivery person did that. It was very well packed. One corner was smashed in but there was no damage to the cabinet. One of the small screws used to attach the wheels was missing but it's not an issue as I won't be moving the cabinet around and the other three screws firmly attached the wheel. I love the color and the sturdiness of the cabinet. The only thing I'd change is the bases for the drawers. They seem a little flimsy. The two top drawers only support 15 pounds each and the bottom drawer supports 30. That's probably enough but they seem cheap and out of place when the rest of the cabinet is so solid. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase. I'm considering adding an additional piece for even more storage.

Pre-assembled cabinet was pre-assembled incorrectly. Drawers don't align, drawers stick. Definitely not worth the price. You're better off getting something from a vendor that requires you to assemble it yourself.

Love my file holder!

Ordered online. Delivery was quick. I had to put it all together myself and this took a little bit, but the directions were very user friendly and easy to understand. They also gave video links by QR code to watch how it is done as well.

No Assembly Required!

This is a well-designed file cabinet that required no assembly other than adding the casters that came with it into the pre-drilled holes. Having placed the cabinet at the end of my desk, I can open the file drawer and access the files without having to get up because the cabinet has the folders hanging sideways in the drawer. It's perfect.

Great filing cabinet to go with the rest of our bush, business furniture in our offices. I know I can always count on bush to make a quality piece of office furniture. Highly recommend to others!

Beautiful addition to our office

This filing cabinet came 90% assembled. I just had to add the handles and casters. The drawers have an adjustment feature in case they are not straight or don’t open and close properly. It is a beautiful addition to our office. We also have the 28†storage cabinet with 2 doors and a shelf also in platinum grey and the 30†storage cabinet with a wide file drawer, 2 smaller drawers and 2 smaller shelves. Beautiful grouping!

Overall a good cabinet for under the desk that matches the desk. Comes 90 assembled which is a plus.

Frustrating assembly and broken parts

Bought this expecting to have to assemble everything but not expecting the level of frustration felt. One of the plastic drawer assembly pieces broke when putting screws in, both connections literally sheared off. Had to contact Bush Furniture for a replacement and they sent two, which was good because one came broken with the same connector part sheared off.

Beautiful filing cabinet. Extremely durable and sturdy. Excellent match for desk. I highly recommend this as well as the rest of the collection. I will definitely be purchasing a second desk set for our other office.

Nice looking and rolls well but...

I bought 9 of these file cabinets for a doctors office. They are nice looking and it's easy to put on the wheels and the handles. However we have the file cabinets under millwork desks in exam rooms and when we pull the drawers open the file cabinet slides right out from under the desk. We switched the wheels to see if the rotating wheels and the non rotating wheels placement would make a difference but it did not. So then I sprayed WD40 in the glides and that did not help. What I ended up doing was putting tape on the back wheels so they don't roll. The blue painters tape can't be seen from the front. Another option would be to keep the wheels off but then the file cabinets were too low under our millwork desks. Maybe these file cabinets work better on carpet.

I would not buy this product again.

It was very difficult to put together and the directions were no help. They were horrible! After many hours working on putting it together with the help of a skilled craftsman, it was finally ready. When sliding one of the newly assembled drawers into the cabinet, the face of the drawer broke apart. With some reinforcement, our friend was able to fix the problem. It works and it looks good but time will tell. Our last file cabinet lasted over 30 years. I doubt this one will last anywhere near as long.

Nice File Cabinet

Studio C 3-Drawer Mobile File Cabinet by Bush Business Furniture is exactly as described online. I ordered this in the Silver color to match a desk in Sand Oak from the same company. It was an exact match. This arrived well packed and fully assembled except for the castors and drawer pulls, both which were easy to add on. It looks beautiful and fits nicely under my desk. I highly recommend.

[Rewarded Review] Manufacturing Defect

Well, I put this file cabinet together. After a few hours, I was ready to put in the drawers. Putting in the first drawer, the drawer was way off and crooked. The reason, the slides on the sides of the file cabinet were off and did not match. The holes are pre-drilled so all you have to do is screw them in. Well, these were off by about an inch. Contacted manufacturer and still waiting to hear back. Not sure what's going to happen or how they will handle this.

Consistent quality!

I have now bought and assembled three of these file cabinets, and the look and quality are excellent. Please read all of the instructions before you start assembly; stop and read them again if at any point you're not sure what you are doing; and don't use a power drill/screwdriver unless (a) it has a clutch, and (b) you have the skill to run it at slow speed. Take your time and you will get a really good result.

A LOT OF MONEY FOR PARTICLE BOARD CABINET

The cabinet is 'fine' nothing special about it and also a LOT of money for particle board, so I feel overpriced by a LOT of $$$ ... taking advantage of COVID-19 and the fact that many people are 'office-ing from home. If I had seen it in the store, I would NEVER have paid that amount for it.

Solid unit but minor design shirtcomings

Drawer set is very solid and assembly is not overly complicated,but take your time and pay attention to the screw sizes. This loses a star for me because a) they used two different but very close screw sizes when one would have done, and been less confusing. It also loses a star because the drawers don't come out as far as I'd like, meaning you can't see the back of the drawers, a problem if you use a drawer cady in the top one.

Of course 1 part came scratched! I am not great at assembly and took my time. I did not notice the gray sides and top in the picture. I loved the wheel aspect. That being said, the directions are awful, half the parts are not labeled. I took my time and it looks nice. The drawers do not open easily and I am going to have to brace the cabinet to open one. A waste of 189.54 (on sale) plus 29.99 delivery plus tax. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Overpriced for Quality

I purchased this Bush 3 drawer cabinet to match my existing hutch (for my home office). The price was the lowest I found anywhere locally or on the web. I had experience assembling these Bush products before so that experience paid off. One new offering is the videos that show you how to assemble the pieces (scanned from manual). I used one video, then assembled the rest on my own. It is easy to make mistakes as the manual only has pictures and doesn't explain the details very well. It took me a couple of hours to assemble and adjust the drawer tracks and faces. Not impressed with the particle board construction base materials, especially for the relatively high price. Overall, I rate the Bush products a "3". One note: the caster wheels do NOT lock, so when you try to open the drawers, the whole unit rolls with that motion. This is annoying but there are workarounds to keep the unit in place if needed.
