Not what I expected
The rug pile is much thinner than expected, so you would definitely need a pad or cushioning underneath if using on a hard surface. I'm using it over carpeting so it works just fine. Rug material is very soft to the touch and comfortable to walk on. Colors are darker and duller in person than in photo, and the print quality is adequate for my home office but, I'd return it if I had planned on using it elsewhere in my home.
