Review of Bankers Heavy Duty File Box

I am in the process of using 8 similar boxes. I Like the way the lid locks unto this box. It is much more secure than the others. The overall quality of the box is of the quality of everything I buy at Staples. I am a very satisfied customer

great until used

I think I left a review stating how awesome these were. While, after tax season when I cleared out files to store, and used this for most recent years of filing, a prong broke with no excess pressure OFF of the lid hinge - useless for airtight storage now. Going to try to superglue a thumbtack in its place to hold on the latching hinge (head to broken spot - pin toward hole where prong broke). Really disappointed.

File Storage Box

The box is only an OK rating because the file folders don’t fit tight enough crossways and they fall off the side edges. I have another one of these file storage boxes from years ago and there is no problem with the folders hanging on the edges. It seems to me that the folders are different and no one made sure the latest folders would work with the newest storage box.

Nice Heavy Duty Plastic Top

I bought several of these plastic Bankers Boxes a few days ago and I am very happy with the quality of the product. The top seems to be stronger than other similar products. I was amazed at the amount of storage space once I put my files in the boxes. Would definitely recommend to others who are looking for a nice file storage box.

PLASTIC BANKER BOXES

looking for something to put required files into long term storage. Plastic banker boxes are just the thing. moisture resistant and rodent / insect resistant to stack in back of closet. Better than cardboard and stronger then other cheap plastic.

Bankers Box plastic container

I decided against these as the primary container for corporate archives. It has the same defect that most brands do: it's not the same width at the bottom as the top. It tapers gradually so they can be stacked for shipping. Files can be stored in a side-to-side direction, but you lose 4" of space. Otherwise, it's well made and I love the locking handle.

I have probably purchased 10 to 20 of these over the years. It is the perfect size, although it comes in three sizes. I love the sturdy lid. How easily they stack. It’s helpful that the bottom is clear.

Great Carrier for My Personal Files During FL to MA Move

This banker's box was perfect for our planned move from Florida to the Northeast. Needed to find a portable container for all our personal papers, as our home office file cabinet is going into long term storage, along with all of our furniture etc. while we wait at our NH summer cottage for the builder to complete our new permanent home in MA. Needed something that fit comfortably in the back of our SUV for the 1500 mile trip, and is easily accessible. This banker's box is sturdy and lightweight, meeting all our needs.
