Product suspect, but customer service great

The harsh sun of south Florida wears the fabric down. They only last 1 1/2 - 2 seasons before needing to be replaced. That includes 5 months where I put the hammock in storage for the summer months……. . That being said, no complaints with the customer service at Pawleys and the speed at which they send replacement straps out.

Very easy to use. I like that it omits the need to drill into a tree and it makes it easy to be able to move the hammock to different locations.

Love our rope hammocks

We now have 2 cotton Pawley’s hammocks. Home and summer cabin. Fabulous. Our family incl 10 grandkids know they are where one goes to read, relax, nap. They wear well and last many years. Love them. We visited Pawley’s Island 25 yrs ago and saw them made. Still have a little rope wall ornament. These hammocks are family treasures

Great until they broke

I purchased these in 2021 and was very happy with them until about a week ago, when a relative who has a bad back was using our hammock and one of the straps snapped and dumped her on the ground. I saw another review here that mentioned the straps breaking after 3 years. This frankly seems like a short lifespan for an LLBean product and is a safety hazard. LLBean should mention this in the product description.

Sturdy & beautifully made

My grandkids love to eat their breakfast on the hammock under the trees. So sturdy you can get 5 kids, ages 5-7 on it to swing. They love it. Great hammock!

These appear to be very good quality. We didn’t use them only because I got this as a gift for my husband and he decided he preferred a stand so he could move the hammock if he wants.
