Cheap knock off
The plastic cover is thin and flimsy compared to the original Spring Gardener brand greenhouse that I’ve for 5 years now. The plastic doesn’t fit the frame well and flaps around in the slightest breeze. It doesn’t filter nearly as much light. It’s really too bad the original was discontinued. This is a cheap knockoff.
Very nice for the price! It was easy to assemble and I did most of it by myself. Needed help getting it upright and the cover on. The only negative I have is that the metal anchors are flimsy so I will get sturdier ones. Not a deal breaker at all. I will very likely get another one soon.
Bought it only for the cover!
The cover lasted a few years, but needed to be replaced due to a tree branch piercing the roof causing a hole for rain water to enter. I needed only a replacement cover, because the frame is in great shape and sturdy. Since there are no replacement covers to be purchased, I had to buy a whole greenhouse kit for only the cover. Please provide an opportunity to purchase replacement covers, please? I saw other comments requesting the same.
Just one season in northern Arizona
I put this on the west side of my carport wall and secured it with a 3" webbing strap that went over the top and down to a heavy stake in the ground. It secured it from getting blown during our windy afternoons. The frame construction is good. It looked the 1st year. Used it for veggies.
Durable for daily use. Great outdoor office
I use this as my outdoor office. I put a tarp on the inside of the frame to block out the sun and it makes for a great outdoor office. I've been using it for almost 2 years now and only 1 zipper (that faced the sun and wind) has broken (out of 4) and only one window's velcrow is getting weak. I keep my computer inside (mac mini and 2 displays) with no issues. On sunny days I need to keep all the vents open to keep it tolerable inside (living in San Francisco). Highly recommend this.
All is good except for one of the zippers that hangs up on one of the doors. Seems like it is catching so I’m pretty sure before long it will break so check zippers before you put it all together. I am 75 year old woman and actually put this up all by myself. I don’t recommend that but it can be done. With help it would be easier and faster. The quality seems pretty good all seams are sewn nicely. All parts were present. Everything fit together nicely. So with exception of one of the zippers I really like it. It’s roomy and the wind don’t seem to move it. The windows help with circulation on the hots days. I do recommend it.
It’s exactly what I wanted! Love the 2 doors and windows. Great ventilation for this FL heat!! So easy to put together too.
This is an excellent greenhouse with great support. I waited till a bitt of our Midwest storms were over to post this review. It did excellent through the wild spring weather we've had keeping our seedlings safe from this crazy 2024 weather! We bought this after one of the first big blows we had crumpled our cheapy. One with plastic connectors and small diameter poles. This I would recommend and would buy again if needed! Be sure to attach it securely to the ground or deck (like we did).
Fairly easy to assemble. A second set of hands is helpful to keep the frame straight and especially when putting the cover over the frame. The tube of the frame are not super strong so be careful not to over tighten or the other parts won't fit over correctly.
Very good. Very easy to put together. Did it by myself in less than 2 hours. Has doors on both ends!. And plenty of large windows. Frame seems pretty sturdy. My plants are living it!
Cheaply made.
Stitching is not good and zipper is cheap. Paint scraps off tubing when trying to adjust distance. Method of securing greenhouse to ground is not adequate. Bottom rail bends easily. Doesnt look like it will last very long. Not as well designed or made as previous greenhouse by Shelterlogic for about the same price.
Good quality. Sturdy. A couple holes were slightly off when assembling, but overall went together fairly easily. 2 people recommended to assemble.
This was the perfect greenhouse for us! It is just the right size, love the doors on each end as well as the windows that all have roll-up flaps. It saved many of our plants though the winter in Seattle since we were in the teens for a little while. We had a small heater in there set to turn on if it got below 42 degrees. It was simple to put together. Condensation develops if you don't open the window covers when it's sunny. Succulents didn't like it because it stayed too damp.
Poor quality
It broke in few days by the wind. It is very poor quality. I don’t recommend to anyone. It is useless and just waste of money.
The green house is built stronger and sturdier than my last one. Love the 2 entrances and the 4 windows. It is not that difficult to put together. Just have everything laid out before hand. Not difficult at all.
So far I am impressed by the construction of this greenhouse. The frame is substanial and went together very easily. I don;t have exactly level ground, but it feels very stable. Like I said, so far I'm impressed.
So far this thing has been great! Purchased ahead of a rare early frost in Texas and it thankfully saved our pepper plants :) Went up pretty quickly with two people and working as expected. It has even weathered a couple mild storms. I doubt it will hold up to substanial hail but we'll see!
This fit beautifully on my deck with easy access to tend to my plants. One picture is worth a thousand words. Wayfair self-watering planters, Wayfair Potting Soil and Hobby Greenhouse - SUCCESS ! we had beautiful red tomatoes and green peppers which were late blooming. It is October now and my garden is still going strong here on Long Island, New York. I LOVE WAYFAIR.
Looks nice but save your money
Looks nice and appears durable when assembled but it is not as durable as described. It has a 1 yr warranty but a month after the warranty expired, areas of the cover started to show signs of getting stiff and brittle. The item was kept in the box for 4 months until it was set up in October. The item is 1 yr 4 months old and areas of it have torn because the sun has cooked it. I called overstock and I was given a number to call, I will update my review if overstock makes this right. Update.... Outsunny will not offer any compensation, they will not even allow me to purchase a replacement cover either. They told me I would have to search online for it, I have and there isn't one to be found. So beware, this is a one season and done product with no customer support.
The metal frame of this greenhouse is thicker and stronger than I expected. It can definitely withstand strong wind. After finishing assemble the frame, I also added some extra wires at the top to bear a load of snow. This greenhouse should last for many years.
