Best suspension system availabe. XL just gives more versatility for a few grams of extra weight. You are fully covered in case the trees are too large or too far apart.

Very sturdy. I like how I don’t have to remover extra clips or hooks with this set up system. Super easy and sturdy! I’m not a small person but the straps made me feel very secure!

Not for camping.

I enjoyed these straps for all of 5 minutes. I’m not sure how you are supposed to take this packable product into the back country when sap or any substance is an immediate ender to the strap system. I have loved ENO for years and unfortunately, I didn’t even make it out of my front yard nor did I sit in my hammock. While setting up, the rope had came in contact with sap on my trees in the yard and is basically seized and will not move. Hoping to get it exchanged with Atlas straps. Not sure how you are going make a backcountry product that immediately fails when setting up to a tree.. the product is a nice design that feels good in the hands and worked well at the start is why it gets 2 rather than 1 stars.

Easy to use and very lightweight. Great for backpacking or even everyday hanging. Pairs well with the SuperSub hammock and Microtune ridge-line from Eno for a ultra lightweight setup.

Thanks for making me look good

We got these straps for my daughter’s Jungle hammock with the bug net and wow are they fantastic. I love how easy it is to adjust the length. They seem like something from a futuristic spacecraft and yet even a Luddite Gen X’er was able to hang the hammock perfectly in less than five minutes.

A Bit Short

I chose these straps based on reviews. There is nothing wrong with the straps themselves other than being short in length for our big Michigan trees. I should have ordered the XL version of them and probably will be ordering some. The straps are light and work well on smaller diameter trees. All in all it is a good system. My advice is get the XL if you have mature forests with large trees.

Great and easy to use.

Great and easy to use. Love the extra length for setting up on some areas where there aren’t many trees super close together. I can now still reach out and hang on very wide gaps between trees. Love it

Light weight, durable straps. The

Light weight, durable straps. The suspension system can be confusing to use but are quite helpful when you need adjustments between trees. They work like a chinese finger trap which has a surprisingly tight hold.

Helios Straps

I'm new to whoopie slings but picked them up after purchasing the Eno Junglenest since the toggles were designed for this system. I wish I would've grabbed the XL versions since I did have some trouble finding small enough trees to make it work, which isn't usually a problem with other straps. Once attached, the adjustments were simple and very accurate. I did have a tough time loosening them the next morning but that may be user error. Good buy, but if you're on the fence at all, get the XL's.

A great addition to my

A great addition to my growing hammock family! Lightweight, packs down small, and easy to assemble! Wish I had paid a little more attention to the fact that it would only unzip on one side, and the bug net can't be completely removed from overhead (again, one side only) - but it didn't detract from the joy I had getting into the hammock - being able to fully stretch out (I could even curl up on my side), and being bug free! No concerns about the mesh pulling as others had noted while zipping and unzipping. No problem with the materials whatsoever!

Version 2.0 is even better.

Have been a fan of this hammock and strap system for 2 years now. Made a mistake of leaving the straps on the tree as I headed to sleep in Roosevelt National Forest. I thought I secured the ends well enough, alas I did not. With sharp rocks on the ground, the dyneema cord (I believe this is what they used on version 1.0) snagged over and over throughout the windy night. I woke up to the cord shredded. Completely my fault.... Stupid, I know. Well, I decided to rebuy the straps as they have served me well and have never had any complaints. When the new straps arrived, I noticed right away, the change in cord material. More durable and more thin. Awesome. I look forward to years of adventures with my new straps. Kudos.

This is the best suspension

This is the best suspension system you can buy, hands down! The straps are as lightweight as you will find at this length. The extra length comes in handy. They are a snap to adjust and that means you will spend less time on setup with more time to relax. I don’t see any cons with these straps. I still use my atlas straps for car camping, backyard, park etc....but if I am going backpacking, then I’ll always be carrying my Helios straps.

This should be your first choice!

I originally found these straps as I was looking to lower my base weight for a thru-hike of the AT. The first straps I owned were a pair of Atlas suspension straps and they did the job, but were heavy and bulky, and you couldn't always get the perfect adjustment. With the new Helios straps, not only is the weight significantly less, but they are just as easy to put up and adjust. With just the pull on one end, you can adjust your hammock until you get the perfect sag, and loosening them is just it in reverse. Instead of trying to decide between two loopholes which gives you the best hang, there are no loops to carabiner into, you can pull and tighten to your most comfortable spot. Had these been available when I first bought my hammock I would have chosen these in an instant. Excellent product!

Outstanding product. The long XL

Outstanding product. The long XL cords work great and enable me to set up the hammock over large spans very easily. Everything is very well made - and not to mention COMFORTABLE! I also ordered the bug net for mine. It's pretty easy to set up and easy to figure out. It's great to have the peace of mind that comes with knowing that those pesty little critters can't be flying in my ears all night. I highly recommend this hammock!

The best straps!!

When I bought my first ENO setup 6 years ago, I had the slap straps. At the time, they were great. Upgraded to the Atlas Straps, loved the extra strength and adjust-ability. After a bit of reading about new advancements on hammock camping forums, I learned about dyneema suspensions. Compared the different options out there and decided on the Helios straps. They came with the tree protector strapping and are a bit longer than the competition that I found. Using them for the first time was super easy. I did make the mistake of tightening the same as I would with the Atlas straps. There is very little give to these and I quickly found myself dangling from the hammock! No big deal, I slacked it about an inch on each side and PERFECT!!!! I love my ENO hammock, now it is even better, with the tightness achievable with Helios straps I slept like a baby... didn't even notice the thunderstorm pass over.
