Perfect for my bathroom remodel, but Safavieh packages their rugs so well that should I WANT to return an item, it's impossible to repackage it to do so. You basically have to cut away the packaging to get at your purchase.

Good rug. I got this as a runner for a foyer. I figured it would hide dirt in a high traffic area. I hope it holds up. I'm sure it will.

Pretty but too light weight

I bought this rug to stage my entry way in our home that we had on the market. The pattern and color was great for the look, but I didn't care for the weight of the rug. It was too light weight. I had a rug pad underneath and taped to the floor to keep in place. It worked for the time, but gave it away after my house sold.

It was too thin for our area. Not soft either

Looks just as good as in the images online but the details of the stripes are even lovelier in person. Definitely needs a good rug pad underneath, though. It is thin and slips around on wood floors.

Not what I expected

First, it is extremely thin. I don't think we will be able to hold it down. Second, the color is black and variations of grey. Not brown nor any cream like the picture indicated.

Beautiful rug

This rug was a perfect fit for a hallway between my kitchen and family room. It's a bit thin (it is a Dhurrie though) and has taken some time to get the edges flat, but the colors and design match perfectly.

Safavieh Dhurrie Wool Rug

The stripes of this rug are in colors of charcoal and various shades of grey, light brown, beige and off-white--rustic and sophisticated at the same time. This rug is thin and light weight, 80% wool and 20% cotton--it definitely needs a good-quality non-slip pad if used on wood or tile floors (but a pad may not be necessary if you put this rug on top of carpet). I needed a thin, flat-weave-type rug to accommodate a rocking chair which gets a lot of use so this is the perfect rug for us (high pile rugs are usually not suitable for rocking chairs). This is a lovely rug at an inexpensive price.
