High Quality Materials Looks Great

Great looking shower door once installed. Parts seem to be of high quality. It was a bit confusing to put together with the instructions provided but overall very happy with the price and look.

Bad instructions can lead to improper install

First, the paper instructions (but not online instructions) state to place the glass panel on top of a 5/8" piece of wood then drill holes and caulk. They probably meant to do this just to remove the corner protectors but if you follow the directions as written will lead to needing a 5/8" gap to caulk. Second the brace arm states to drill the same 5/16" hole and use same screw as for panel wall brackets. However the screw they include and the brace arm hole for the screw are only 3/16". So if you follow this instruction will lead to drilling too large a hole for the screw and bracket hole. Ridiculous to make such a nice quality door but have multiple mistakes instructions when they could have just done a run through installation with the instructions to make sure they are correct. Not even a language problem just very careless!

Anzzi Frameless Hinged Tub Door

This glass door shower enclosure is exactly what we were looking for! It came well packaged and arrived on schedule. We have yet to install it so I can't comment on functionality but will do so later.

Poor directions and no parts list.

Nice looking, but that is where it stops. Directions are totally inadequate. No parts list, but included a support brace with zero mention of it in the directions. Called GW and was told it was optional on the install.

We have a porcelain tiled, undermount tub surround. Tub is 60" so this 48" fixed glass/door leaves about a foot unprotected, as planned. We used a waterproofing system under all tile so we are not overly concerned about water. First, let me say that the unit is well-made and very heavy. Two person minimum, three person ideally, job. We are experienced DIYers, but we still took two half-days to install it. We spent the first one very careful determining the diamond drill points for the fixed glass mounts as we didn't want any tile damage. We used laser levels to ensure everything was perfectly square and vertical/horizontal. It is essential that the wall/tub is square. We needed a 5/16" diamond drill for the wall mounts. The bottom, tub mount required a 1/4" diamond drill. We mounted everything into the wood studs except for the cross-brace. However, amazingly to me, the plastic anchors alone seemed to be sufficient. We bought longer stainless steel screws to ensure that the studs were engaged. On the glass door, we used wood wedges and towels to accomplish the correct alignment of the door. We used a little blue locking thread stuff on the door/hinge screws to avoid future issues. The instructions were fairly clear. We effectively swapped Step 2 and Step 3. The only real confusion we had was on a clear plastic seal strip. It is mentioned on the parts list, but we couldn't find any mention of where to install it. We installed it on the door side of the fixed glass. It ends up underneath the door's clear plastic seal. It seems correct. There is a chance that it should have gone between the fixed glass and the wall tile, but the instructions say to caulk that area, and the bottom of the fixed glass. The door sweep seal (bottom) controls the stopping of the door, i.e., it stops where you leave it. The hinges do not control the door stop points, except at the extreme. Some have mentioned that the door drips. We are using a near vertically down rainshower head so we don't have much water on the door. We really like the unit and it really makes the room.

This is my perfect solution for my kids bathroom. I have two young children who now start to shower by themselves. Currently I use shower curtain but this does not block water well. But I did not want to block whole tub with glass sliding panel. It is too ugly for my taste. But with this, you can effectively block water coming out of tub it's clear glass and curved design makes your bathroom very pretty and functional. Door does not flapping around I simply love this

I received the Anzi herald series door very quickly with no broken parts. This door is is very modern looking. The installation was fairly straight foreward, although it does require 2 people as it is very heavy. But then again that's one of the reasons it is so great. It is made with high quality in mind. This door added a very updated look to my bathroom. It's very unique design sets it apart from other standard shower doors.

I love these shower doors. The quality of them is superior to any others I've had or shopped for. The instructions recommend having a professional install them, but if you are handy at all, it can be done quite easily yourself. The door and affixed panel are heavy so you will need a second person to help hold them in place while installing them. They have completely transformed my bathroom, making it look so much better and giving me more space. I highly recommend this product.

OMG, this is the greatest looking shower door ever! The style is so unique and it does a great job of blocking the water where it's needed. The brushed nickle bar handle is effective to hang towels or a bath mat too. The water is blocked just enough with the door extending 48 inches out, but not reaching the other side wall of the shower. it gives a really modern look! Be careful to get the correct door, so you will attach it to where the shower head is. Perfectly packaged for shipping so nothing broke!!

The ANZZI HERALD Series 48 in. x 58 in. Frameless Hinged Tub Door in Chrome with Towel Bar Handle is very sleek and modern. It is a heavy item (delivered by pallet freight) and as many have stated it requires help to install. I am a bit dismayed at the amount of water that is left on the floor after you step out of the shower. The "run off" from the door as it is opened away from the tub is a real inconvenience. We have determined that waiting a few seconds will lessen the amount but you do need to wipe up the floor after showering even with a bath mat in place. The wide open look it creates in the bathroom is amazing and appreciated.

The shower door replaced our shower curtain. We never had a real shower door before. It is really nice. It is definitely a two person job when you install the shower door. The instructions are well written but it takes some time. It took some time getting used to having a clear door verses a shower curtain. It cleans very easy and it stays clean so far.

Quality Product with issues. The three stars I gave were for the quality of this product, I was very pleased how nice it looks, the 3/8" thick glass and all the hardware that came with it. The installation did require two people to install the stationary glass to the brackets and the door onto the hinges. But overall the installation went pretty well. it only took about 2 1/2 hours to install.

This shower door is very sturdy and well made. The instructions are easy to understand and simple to follow for installation, it's a two person job. The hinges and hardware are high quality. This was used for my kids bath and shower, they couldn't be happier about having a glass door. They like the fact that the shower is now filled with light and the floor stays dry.

I love this shower door! It's very sleek and modern and since it's frameless, it's easier to keep clean. It is not easy to install. It takes two people to hold it in place and get the bar put in the right spot. Because of this, I had someone install it for me. I've had no issues with soap scum building up on the glass, although I use a shower spray every day. My sister installed a similar model (walk-in shower length. She is also very happy with hers. She's had her shower door for over a year and it still looks clean (no soap scum streaks). This is in my teenagers' bathroom and they haven't destroyed it yet, which tells me it's pretty durable. I just wish it came in bronze so it would match the rest of my bathroom fixtures.
