Gorgeous rug

We could not be happier with our new rug from Rugs Direct. The colors and texture are perfect, delivery was speedy, it is just perfect.

I’m very happy with the rug. It’s high quality and was exactly what I had been looking for in my entryway. I read several reviews that said the shedding was excessive, but luckily that has not been my experience in the month I’ve had the rug. Very pleased with this purchase!

This rug came well packaged and delivery person called in advance and was very cordial. . We love this wool rug in the living room of our new home; just what we wanted. . It does shed (have had for a week now and vacuum daily, not excessive but will do that for a while, unlike non-wool rugs. . I did use the Mohawk reversible felt rug pad with this, purchased from Houzz as well (both came at the same time).

Thick as described. Color is a bit off (the irovy is darker than expected almost dirty looking). Need to vacuum multiple times to get rid of excess lint and sand underneath the rug. The rug was delivered folded and not rolled which caused creases. After a week of vacuuming the creases are still visible top and bottom.

I love wool rugs. This one doesn't disappoint. It's very high quality and the colors are perfect for my living space. It does shed but that's expected. The shedding will stop after a few times with the vacuum.

Wry good quality. Think hides any stains

Love the colors and feel of this rug. Feels very durable and will be great in our upstairs hallway. Especially for our lab puppy that’s always sliding around.

Excellent rug that looks even better in person

This rug is very soft, moderate thickness, and feels very high quality. It looks even better in person and goes very well with our newly painted bedroom!

The rug is great. durable for kids and pets. only con is getting the color match right with buying online. hard to send back if bought the wrong colors, nothing to do with the craftmanship.

Good rugs

Got the long runners for my entryway, hallway and kitchen. Great quality and pretty design, looks vintage. Definitely nice and thick, very high end. The neutral colors go well with my light walls. Adds some interest without making it too busy. Love the natural fibers, they are soft - feels good in bare feet! Delivery was quick and they were rolled up nicely, rolled right out with no wrinkles or problems laying down. Pleased with my purchase. Thanks

Soft and Gorgeous!

This rug is soft and gorgeous! I have the large 9X12 area rug in my living room and love it. Wool rugs are an investment, and different from synthetic rugs, but high quality, longer lasting, and worth the money. Unlike other rugs I've bought in the past, this rug is THICK and HEAVY - it does not require a rug pad underneath and it doesn't move around. It feels very luxurious, it's densely woven and super comfortable to walk on and really warms up the space. As for vacuuming, just an FYI, you can't use a Dyson or other extreme power suction sweeper on wool rugs - cordless and stick vacs don't work well either - just use a standard, regular vacuum cleaner, and you'll be fine. After several family gatherings we've learned it's pretty spill repellant and cleans up well! It does shed a bit still, as wool rugs do, but it's worth it for the plushness and comfort and with every vacuum it looks fresh and new. The pattern is BEAUTIFUL - just be aware the gray color is more blue, though, the description is misleading. Luckily this worked for me and I actually like it better, but if you're looking for true gray it may not! The colors are powder blue, beige and cream, so pretty. Very neutral and soft. Cozy and calming. I go for a comfy, farmhouse look but this style would also work with more elegant or modern decor. It's classic and vintage looking, and I like having something a little nicer and different from what everyone else has! (Looking at you, washable rugs, LOL). Very, very nice. I'd like to purchase another for my dining room.

Wouldn't recommend

Absolutely beautiful, but wouldn't recommend. They're impossible to vacuum. I've had these rugs (9X12 area, 6X6 round, and 2 long runners) for over a year and they still shed like day 1 - I get literally 10 seconds of suction on my Dyson and it gets so full it just stops working and I have to empty the canister before it will go again - do you know how annoying it is to have to stop and empty the vacuum cleaner, plus fish out a clog of wool with a screwdriver or butter knife, literally every 10 seconds? That's not sarcasm or an exaggeration - it's literally roughly 10 seconds. I wish I had known about this, I would have never purchased these rugs, I regret it terribly and could cry every time I have to vacuum. But I came back here to warn others because maybe I can help someone else. Unfortunately they are very expensive and now I'm stuck with them. I have other Safavieh rugs I absolutely love, and sought out the brand for that reason when we moved to a different house and needed rugs, but these are a different material. Very pretty to look at, and feel great under your feet, but I really wish I could have my money back and buy something else. :(

However, I wanted darker colors for the entryway since it will get dirty. still love the pattern, fits perfectly in the area. it's a little thick, if you don't have about a 3 inch gap between the floor and door, it will roll when opening the door. strong secure packaging. NO smelly packaging. arrived on time as stated when ordered.

Foyer runner 10"

Not recommended. Love the design - but all it does is shed. Fabric all over the foyer for more than one year now. That certainly shouldn't be!

Clearly something wrong w this rug

The listing mentions o stain on the rug which is indeed minimal After my second vacuum of the rug I am disappointed. Each time the rug has COMPLETELY filled my canister with rug fiber. I doubt it will last very long

Lovely quality, but colors are a little too muted

We bought it for a large kid's room. Quality is superb, but colors are a little too muted. I am in general a ted afraid of colors, but even for me it was just too pale and neutral. Picture is more vibrant than it was in a real life, it will neither add nor detract from your decor.
