Composite means plastic apparently

Really this is a great light fixture if you get over the shade being plastic. The item specs state composite but I think that is deceptive at best. Composite to me implies a carbon/resin construction. If it had been metal I would have been able to correct the "roundness" of both shades (I ordered 2) as they were not perfectly round upon delivery. But the size of the fixture is great

I would not buy this again.

I would have returned the light but I have to get the job done. It's cheap quality. The shade is made from plastic. The gooseneck already had rust. I wish I would have returned it. Maybe the company can reimburse some of the cost.

This has a 5 year finish warranty and be aware it is not metal. Stringing the electric cords through the small tube of the gooseneck is A JOKE-we ruined 1 of 2 of them trying to do this and stripping the wire repeatedly to get it started

Quickly saw how nice it looked. Black color is very dark which is good. At first when I saw the shade was plastic I thought what? Then realized that its best for being outside. The connector is iron. The inside of the shade is white but good for illumination. Need to get a cool looking bulb to add to the design. nice design, quality, good size
