product was fine, it was trying to enlist installation services not dependable at all.
Lasted Almost 3 years
Lasted almost three years, then stopped working and shows error codes with no explanation of what they mean. I spent 45m on the phone with support and even Honeywell couldn't tell me what the errors "2.5" "8.4" and "11.9" mean.
Works good. I called honeywell tech support and they walked me through the programming of it. I use the auto function to turn the heat on in the master bathroom so my roomate can take a shower in the heated room. I also bought one for the living room.
This was a replacement for a same-unit that lasted 14 years.

These work really well. The Triac programming produces a very soft/steady heat versus the full on/off of the normal switch style thermostats.
Easy Installation and Quality
It was easy to install and it looks like it is a quality product. The only downside is that the product is very wide so make sure that you have enough clearance to install it because it's almost twice as wide as traditional floorboard heater thermostats.
Install is simple easy to program. Updating old thermostat for new hydronic baseboard. Already have several in the house that work great. Stays programmed if power is interrupted briefly.
Easy to install and use.
Works great.
Looks good, works great, easy to program.
Failed
I’ve had it installed by a professional less than a year now.
saw an associate in plumbing. I showed him exactly what I needed, a 2 pole thermostat(4 wire) as I brought the faulty one with me. Upon opening the box at home, it was a 2 wire thermostat. I had an electrician waiting at home to install it.
It did not work properly for the heating system
The guy near paint was a nice older gentleman who pointed us to the location of the thermostats.
easy to install. easy to program. works well.
Very easy to install
I like this thermostat because it is pretty easy to schedule.. I did mess it up at first due to not paying complete attention to AM vs PM, but it was easily sorted. Working well.
My condo has all electric heat. Each room has its own knob dial thermostat. I purchased this Honeywell thermostat for my living room. I had en electrician install it. After reading instructions I was able to program to my desired on off temperature. I like the way it looks and works. I will know better when my new electric bill comes in January. I like the digital display too. Would recommend
Only lasted 1 yr 6 months
stopped working shortly after the warranty expired, I recommend finding another product.
Works great...or not at all
Installed this thermostat model in my master bedroom a year ago, and it’s been great…no complaints. So I bought two more for the other bedrooms, but they won’t function properly. The first one I installed would intermittently flash “Hi”, or “11.9” and “2.5”. Tried replacing with the second thermostat, which seem to work better…but then the display went blank. After a while the display came back, but the date and time had been lost. Very frustrating. I’m planning on returning these two units to Home Depot, and buy a simple non-programmable thermostat instead.
Great for Cadet wall heater, terrible instructions
This is actually a really nice unit, and best of all it works really well with a Cadet wall heater. BUT, beware! If you are hooking this up to a unit with a fan, such as a Cadet wall heater, you MUST go to the advanced settings and set the fan option to YES before running the unit at all. If not, you will burn out the thermostat. Not sure why that isn't something that is part of the installation, but it is all the way at the end of the manual in the "advanced options". Super easy installation.
