These are great because you can use tap water as long as you descale regularly. They consume a lot more electricity than an ultrasonic (white dust everywhere) or evaporative (weak and mouldy filters).

We have been struggling to keep the humidity in our home at a comfortable level during the winter months. Even though we have to move this from room to room, it does its job wonderfully. It also does not take long at all to warm up! It's quiet and very easy to use. The size is also a plus.

Best Humidifier

This is the absolute best humidifier I’ve ever found, I now refuse to buy any other kind. Not only is it top-filled (meaning you can top it up as the day goes on without having to turn it off), it turns off and on as-needed to keep your room at a consistent humidity level. Because no parts are closed off to airflow, I have also never had any mold whatsoever (I usually have to clean a humidifier once every week because of mold/mildew growth) so this is a game-changer! It is also one of the few warm mist humidifiers still sold, so you don’t have to buy purified water all the time and can just do an occasional de-scaling. Do yourself a favour and buy this humidifier immediately!

Does not cover mid size room, the moisture output is low, and the fan is extremely noisy! I have hygrometers throughout the house as well as several other humidifiers

This is not what a person with 2400 square feet of home needs just can't handle putting enough moisture in our home then we could not get a replacement filter for this thing either not sure what my husband did with it most likely will be thrown in the garbage not much good with being able to get a new filter and the filter that came with it was nasty with mold yuck don't buy this product they make way better products than this I am better off without anything than this thing

Quiet and effective

despite negative reviews, I purchased. So glad I did, so far so good. Quiet and does a great job. I had to figure out that it shuts off now and then depending on humidity level. I will most likely purchase another for the dry winters in Colorado. Wish this came with a replacement filter though.

Two stars because of warranty. I got this one to replace one I had for over 2 years that was still under warranty when it stopped working. To comply to the warranty you need to send the broken one back and they will send you a new one. That sounded great until I priced shipping to send it back and the cost was more then buying a new one.

This humidifier is very effective at fine-tuning the humidity level in our home in preparation for new wood flooring.

holds 3 gallons! goes on automatically as is needed, turns off itself when the water is gone, super easy to clean and easy to fill the tanks on the side. light weight as well.

Two Units- Two Returns- Poor Fans and Water Leaks

Until later in the week when my wife noticed her feet got wet. The floats that regulate how much water is released from the tanks were sticking. Take the tank out they did pretty good. Put the tank in place they would stick most the time. When they stick, the water in the tank will continue to drain to the base then onto the floor. Except two times when one tank was dry and the other full yet the add water light was on.

Good Quality

Runs 12 hours on 3 gallons of tap water. My Hygrometer reads 50% most of the time. No white dust like misting humidifiers. Easy to fill and maintain. I humidify my entire single wide mobile home with it. Good buy.

Worked great the first year. Now in my second season the motor is grinding and the fan barely spins. $100 is a lot to spend for an item to only last one winter season.

Could be better

I'm very disappointed in the refillable tanks on either side. They mention handles but it is really just grabbing onto the inside of the container. It is much easier just filling this humidifier by taking a pitcher right to it and pouring the water in instead of bringing the water tanks to a sink or tub. I do appreciate that it turns on and off automatically.
