It works but drips water on the floor

My HomeMedic humidifier (from Bed, Bath & Beyond) finally died after 20 or so years so bought this one as a replacement as they're so similar. I have no problem as far as it running and putting out a humidifying mist. The negative about this unit is that water drips out of the mist outlet and runs down on the floor no matter how low of setting you use. The outlet on this unit is smaller than the HomeMedic unit and I think that's the problem.

Doesnt work- DONT BUY

Read the instructions, filled with water, then NOTHING. Did not work no matter what setting it was on. Left it on overnight to see if it worked and no water was used.

Broke on day 2.

Cute, did what it needed to do until day 2 it just stopped emitting mist at all. So it’s just been a night light. Will be returning.

Not working straight from the box

Seriously, it did not work straight out of the box. I filled it and left it on max and it took 5 min to start working, but after 4 hours it had stopped working again. I will be returning it tomorrow. It’s too bad, because the tank seems like it would be easy to clean and the lights are a fantastic function.

Lots of steam!

They designed this really well! Easy to fill and it starts right away. I like the twist and lock reservoir, which has good capacity and lasted all night and then some at the 3/4 setting. Easy to get on and off with the handle on the back. The little clicky sound when you first turn the dial is incredibly satisfying. No weird plastic smell right out of the box and no issues with leakiness besides normal condensation at the out-spout, which can be aimed. And it’s cute. Really cute.

Mid

It worked for me but I don't like the dropping sound it makes. The light is a cool set up but not enough to keep it. The humidifier part is mighty and stronger compared to another similar style I bought online.

Dont Bother Trying It

When I first set it up as instructed it didn't work. I figured out why and got it going only for it to stop after an hour. I tried again and it stopped again after an hour. Something is clearly wrong in the design if there is a water tank yet I have to manually refill the other water reservoir for it to work. Dont waste your time and money.

Humidifier

Followed directions for set up. Put water in. It runs for a bit then shuts off and doesn't turn back on. Even with the on/off switch. It's going back to the store.

Big disappointment

Does not work. The light function is finky at best and it never actually produced any mist after following all the instructions. DO NOT BUY.

Dud

Such a bummer. Another humidifier dud. I guess I was lucky that the mist was coming out, unlike other reviews. But I like to use mine at night and it makes an incredibly loud dripping sound, and the power light on the knob is bright, which made it impossible to sleep… which kind of defeats the purpose. It also recommends a demineralization filter, which is not included. I got this for an extended hotel stay because my skin, eyes, and hair are so dry with forced, recycled air and I was missing my Homemedic humidifier I have at home - which is silent, all lights can be turned off, and included a demineralization filter, but is too big (&expensive) for a hotel stay. Back to the drawing board!

No mist

Doesn't work right out of the box! Followed all instructions and had it on forever. Still no mist like the other recent reviews

I got 2 of these and neither worked.

I bought one and followed all the directions. Didn’t work. Exchanged for another one. Didn’t work. Returning this one. Don’t buy

Great humidifier at a great price

Very easy to fill and clean. Works great with a cool mist and soothing light. A great humidifier at a great price.

Seriously... listen to the other reviews

Just like the other reviews, it doesn’t work!! Took it out of the box, filled it with water, plugged it in… nothing. Fiddled around with it, waited about an hour, and still nothing. I don’t know if they’ve got a bad batch out right now, but be warned they DON’T WORK!

Don't buy this!!! It's garbage

If I could give this Honeywell humidifier zero stars I would! I read great reviews and was excited to use it. After reading the manual and adding distilled water, I plugged in the humidifier and turned the power knob from OFF to ON, NOTHING HAPPENED!!!!!! No mist, no sound, NOTHING! I stared at it waiting for something to work. The only thing that worked was the light. What a piece of garbage. I am highly disappointed. All a girl wanted was a nice humidifier for bed time.

Broken Humidifier

Terrible. I picked one up and filled it with distilled water and it never once let any mist out nor did it ever use any of the water in the tank. I left it on overnight to see if the water levels changed and it never did.

Ultra glow humidifier/diffuser

I really like the size and utility of this humidifier. However, I am not able to open it to refill without help. I understand that it has to be tight, but I wish I could solve this problem.
