Exactly what a wanted. Nice thick glass. Came in perfect condition and was easy to install. Definitely a 2 person job tho.

This gave me the exact length I needed to hang my ceiling fan and it looks great.

False advertising

I think it is pretty shady to advertise on the packaging of the fan that one of the mounting options is an angled ceiling but then forcing customers to purchase an additional part to achieve the pictured “mounting option”

Not matte black

The fan I purchased from Hunter is matte black and the Dow rod they sell is not matte.

It works as described and is easy to install, but it comes with a shrink wrap on it that is so hard to remove it will take the paint off with it. Luckily my fan is so high up that I just left the shrink wrap on it and it's hard to see.

Just a pole. but no bends, n fit greta

This rod worked perfect for my cathedral ceiling in my home. purchased my fan from Home Depot but they did not have the 6ft pole in black. So I bought it direct from Hunter and it worked fine. it fit my fan perfectly. Its a piece of metal so its not a complex thing, but I will say that it was not bent, threads fit into the fan and it was compatible with the fan I had. shipping was fast also.

Didn’t realized we would need this but our ceiling was angled. Did not take too long to get it d ow it is perfect!

Matte finish looks great in new construction living room, clean look. Extended living room fan in vaulted ceiling. Easy to install works as it should matched the black fan perfectly.

12" Extension works well

Worked well to get my blades away from the low side of pitched ceiling.

Needed this to bring the ceiling fan down low enough in the room. Although it has not yet been installed, it appears to be a perfect match.

Hunter downrod rocks!!

Classic style of downrod. Very sturdy. No wobble. Matches fan and remote housing perfectly.

This down rod worked spectacularly! Used two six footers with a connector from Lowe’s that we spray painted black- happy!

I haven't been able to use this yet or have my ceiling fan that goes with it installed. It's on a 16 ft ceiling & I'm having trouble hiring a local person to hang it. However, it's perfect! I replaced my ceiling fans this fall after I had my house painted. This perfect downrod will allow me to change the lightbulbs in my new Hunter Fan light & also keep the blades cleaner. I'm replacing a much shorter downrod & can't wait to get them installed. Wayfair had them when other retailers didn't. They arrived quickly, the price was great & overall the experience here was top-notch. Highly recommend!

We needed the down rod. Not sure how many people install fans with the factory boxed size down rod which is very small. Not happy we had to place a separate order
