The speed of air is not fast. This fan is more for looks. My kirchen fan is smaller and throws more air. Very disappointed and a waste of money.

Fan "smart receivers" causing issues. App sucks.
I bought 5 of these, the brown color 96". 1 wouldn't work and I was sent another "receiver". Replaced receiver and then a different fan would not spin, that used to work fine before. Lights work on all of them. Molex connector is fine. For $1k each, you would expect reliability!

Perfect! Great quality metal, electrician said everything was labeled great took two of them 1 hour to remove the old one, put together the new fan and put up the new fan.
The updated style works with my home. It is attractive and functional.

Worst Fan Ever
First, please note this fan has a max speed of 40 rpm. There is little to no real movement of air so if using outdoors keep that in mind. The handheld controller sold to control multiple units has been discontinued so if you have more than one fan, know that each will have to be adjusted individually. Also, there is no locking mechanism on the down rod so if you are in a windy area expect these to be very unstable. We had to have the electrician back out to rewrite after our first windy night. This fan is a mess!

Modern Forms Service
I bought a HYDRA FR-W1805-120L-BZ from Home Depot. Rented a lift install the fan, had a licensed electrician install the fan, the fan will not run. The electrician and I have left several messages with Modern Fans without any reply. So my opinion of their service is not very good right now. Oh buy the way after you leave Home Depot with the fan it is yours. You deal with the company after you buy it.
