Great size bowl

Great size cereal, bowls I’ve had this set for years. I pick up pieces here and there as a replacement when they chip great price on sale.

Too Large

They were too large. Include diameter in description. I had old bowls that were smaller but glazing failed.

Disappointed

I ordered cereal bowls to replace some that were chipped. The current dishes have a very off white color and do not match my older set. They also are much heavier and seem to stoneware instead of the porcelain like the original set. I am keeping them because it will cost me $24 shipping to return what a set of bowls that I paid $35 for.

Color and Pattern Not the Same

My wife and I have been married for almost 20 years. We were gifted Mikasa Italian Countryside dishes for our wedding. Through the years some of the plates and bowls have been broken or chipped. We decided we wanted to replace several of the plates and bowls. When we ordered replacements they arrived a noticeably different color from our originals. The pattern is also not as detailed as our original. We are aware of pattern drift, but the difference in color is unacceptable. Our original dishes are a white color. The new ones are very much off white. Not even close to the original color. I want to return the new ones, but they are demanding I pay the return shipping. I feel this is unfair. There website does nothing to indicate the large difference in color.

Color

Only issue is that the color is a little darker than all my other Italian Countryside I own. Hope they fix this for my future orders of Italian Countryside!

When they arrived I noticed the difference on the pattern because I had one bowl left from previous set, although the same style it was less stamped, not as defined, not thrilled about it

Slightly smaller than original

Bought these bowls to replace mine that had chipped. Turns out, these bowls are just a bit smaller than the original and do not stack with my older set. They are swallowed whole by my older versions when I try to stack them on top. Other than that, I’m ok with the quality for the price but would prefer a note that lets me know it’s different than the original.

Poor quality

Not up to Mikasa top quality. The embossing around the top of the bowl was barely visible. Bought these to replace some broken/damaged bowls in my set. Returned them.

The scroll design near the top band is not as defined on the latest bowls I purchased compared to my original bowls. I'm very disappointed in how the newest bowls look.

Italian Country Side dinnerware.

Perfect size for soup or salad. Love these bowls. Would recommend to anyone. Fair price and great value. Have a whole set of 12 of this whole collection plus serving bowls. Would recommend these to anyone. Perfect for any occasion.

The fluting and design are barely noticeable

I bought these as replacements for bowls that had broken over the 12-14 years since I bought my Italian Countryside set. The older bowls have a beautiful 3D pattern, and whole set was lovely. These replacements look very different: the fluting is not as deep, and the garland around the top outside rim is so flat and "blurry" you can barely see it. They look cheaply made, and I am returning them.

Imitation???

I have owned my Mikasa “Italian Countryside” dinnerware for over 20 years. The detailing etched in the band is very clear in my pieces. The bowls in both of the boxes I just purchased here, have an edge that is not etched clearly at all. The design is almost “smeared”, you can not see any detail at all. I wonder if these are factory seconds!! Definitely returning!
