This was not what I was expecting for color it reads a lot more 'gray' than ivory and almost has a sheen to it. In the pictures it looks a lot more taupey gray than 'transitional' gray.

This rug is absolutely gorgeous and ultra plushy. A little expensive but definitely worth it by quality.

Beautiful rug but has some drawbacks.

I am in love with this rug. Thinking of ordering a second one for my bedroom. The fiber is soft on bare feet. It seems to be bound well around the edges. You definitely need a rug pad to keep it from slipping under your feet. I think the color is more off white than cream as it doesn’t have a yellow tint. And the fiber has some gray in it. It works perfectly for what I wanted.

It's really nice. I was skeptical but it's perfect. Nicely woven, comfortable to walk on. Color is just as it looks in the picture and works well with beige or gray tones. Very happy with this purchase.

I was torn between this rug and a cheaper alternative, but ultimately decided to go with this one and I’m very happy about it. The rug is soft and makes the room feel cozy. A little bit of shedding so far, but nothing out of the ordinary. Gorgeous!

Not worth the price tag. Although the rug is soft and aesthetically pleasing, the amount of shedding is insane. I thought it would taper off, but I’ve hade this rug since 2019 and it still sheds daily and, due to that, it looks very worn. It produces more debris and hair than my 90 lb lab. I would not repurchase.

Beautiful rug. I’ve been searching for months for the perfect rug that was soft, relatively easy to care for , and beigecream that complement my travertine floors and this rug delivered. Highly recommend

The rug is beautiful. It looks great in our room. Very soft Wool under feet . The color cream is a very natural color with cream and. Beige loops. The size of the width is a little off and uneven. Not terrible .That’s probably because it is handwoven. Just received the rug yesterday. We are hoping it does not shed. We saw this rug in another store and they wanted over $5,000.00 for the 10x14. Will try to submit a picture at a later date because I know how important it is to read the reviews good or bad before making such an expensive purchase

Beautiful rug, got it in cream. Up close its different shades of cream and tan so its not one solid color but overall and from a distance it just works! The texture is what makes this rug so special its vey thick and chunky, not your old school conventional rug so it makes a statement in any room. Its soft to walk on, feels like stretched yarn that was formed and looped into a rug. As beautiful as it is, Ill admit Im weary about vacuuming it and will it unravel overtime... but I do love it!

I bought this rug about 2-3 months ago.

I ordered this rug and received it quickly. However, it had a musty odor like it had gotten wet or stored in very humid conditions. I called and the problem was remedied ASAP and I have to say A+ BirchLane! I got the replacement and it is beautiful! Well made and I can't wait to use it in my new home!

I LOVE this rug! I looked for area rugs for over 6 months as was pretty sure about this selection when I ordered but, when it arrived I liked it even more than I expected. It is so soft, has amazing texture and design, and has added a whole new warmth to our living room.

Purchasing such a large rug on-line seemed nerve-wracking to me but when we opened it up I was thrilled! It is gorgeous! Soft on the feet and while the colour might be slightly darker than pictured I feel it only makes it a bit more functional for my home (with pets and young kids!)

I LOVE THIS WOOL RUG--it's cozy, cushiony (somewhat massaging to the feet, due to 'bi-level' of the woven pattern); and, it looks AWESOME in my cabin-home (tho' I'd also put it in a contemporary setting, like at my daughter's metro-loft apartment)! I LOVE that it is all-wool, without polypropylene or latex, so I know it is safe for my hardwood floor and will not 'yellow' the wood. Because I have the front feet of 2 love-seat sofas sitting atop (not shown in FOTO attached), I did not purchase a rug pad. With natural fibers, there is a slight tendency for the rug to shed, but the natural and beige fibers are not more apparent than regular dust. I have simply 'whisk-broomed' some crumbs off, and have not needed to blot-wipe anything yet.

Absolutely GORGEOUS rug! We are absolutely thrilled. An incredible bargain for the money. Thick, soft, beautifully made - it really is stunning. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that, as another reviewer mentioned that actualy rug is significantly DARKER than the photo. The picture makes it looks like "oatmeal", whereas in reality it's closer to a medium/dark brown with oatmeal 'highlights."

5 stars. We purchased the 8x10 for our front sitting room, which gets fairly frequent traffic. I wanted something to warm up the space, make it cozier. This rug is like a soft, cozy, warm cable knit sweater. It does shed a little, so we've had to vacuum a little more frequently. And it is made from ivory and brown thread so it does have a marbled appearance. All in all, it is exactly what I was looking for in this room.
