The rug smells strongly of mildew, and was very slightly damp when it arrived. The backing was deeply wrinkled and shows through to the surface of the rug. I hung it over the wall in my back yard where it will receive some strong New Mexico sunlight and exposure to dry air. Hopefully that will remedy the nasty smell. The surface of the rug seems dirty and off color, but hopefully after vacuuming the many loose hairs off the surface, that will improve. Why am I not returning this? It’s a good design and reasonably priced, and I think I can resolve the issues. Also, It would be almost impossible to re-package and return mail.

Beautiful rug, but not practical as it SHEDS LIKE CRAZY. Even after many rounds of vacuuming, this rug continues to SHED LIKE CRAZY. Wouldn’t be a big deal if design was not with contrasting colors. The black part perpetually has white shedded pieces on it. Photo is just a few hours after vacuuming. Beautiful to look at, but do not recommend at all.

Absolutely beautiful. I put the rug in my hallway and it looks so cool. I love it.

Colors are drab or dull. Big issue is that the dark color is bleeding through the cream looking like dirt spots. Have had numerous beautiful Safavieh rugs and never experienced this issue. Disappointing.

I absolutely love this carpet design and quality, however, the reason I only gave it two stars is because when I opened it and unrolled it, it was filthy and had an order like it had been in someone's attic for years. I vacuumed it several times up and down and sideways and got most of the gray looking dirt out but some areas still had a light shade of gray looking dirt. I started wondering if I got a second hand rug. After two days of the rug airing out the rug still smelled when I walked in the room where it is. I'm giving it more time to air out and hope the order goes away. Other than that the rug is a beautiful rug and is very good quality.

I am so disappointed with this purchase. The rug has a beautiful pattern and colors, but the quality is very poor. Every time I vacuum, a bunch of the material comes off. Now the colors are fading, and the rug looks worn out, even though I set it up just two weeks ago.

This rug is gorgeous and amazing quality. Way thicker than my other Wayfair rugs and such a nice texture. Shedding has faded as I’ve had it for longer.

Cute!! Kinda hard to vacuum though because the black fibers come off and blends with the white part. But it’s super minimal, I still love it!
