Absolutely beautiful rug! Excellent quality! I am good at carpets. Even the backside of this rug is made with a high quality. The flowers on it are very sophisticated

Expensive look at a reasonable price

I bought this for my mother and she was thrilled. There are so many colors that you can chose from for accents etc. The pile is very dense, lots of threads per inch. The wool helps spills bead up. It vacuums beautifully. Her cats love the warmth this winter as the floors get cold. I have bought multiple wool rugs from Overstock and they have all been high quality.

I have purchased rugs from Overstock before but due to the size and cost I was hesitant about ordering this one. I was afraid the brown background would be too dark since my victorian furniture was in a milk chocolate color. WOW was I surprised. The rug is beyond beautiful. The roses are gorgeous and the overall color is great. Really took our living room to a whole new level. If you want a gorgous rug then order you one you will not be disappointed at all.

In the long run you will have a viable carpet that still looks and feels nice with out the disadvantage of carpet fibers everywhere. I have bought FIVE of these large Savonnerie hand knotted rugs and have not been disappointed.

colors quite different

The rug looked very different upon arrival. The brown is light brown and brindled, and the flowers were much less prominent. It is well made and very heavy and thick.

Art for the floor...

I purchased this rug several years ago for my parents' dining room. The flowers are beautiful in shades of burgundy and blue. The pile is thick and there was minimal shedding. It still looks as beautiful as it did the day it arrived.
