Sad, hurt, and disappointed.

I have purchased the 6 foot round carpet of mystic garden. It looks very beautiful online. I showed it to a co-worker and he thought wow, that looks great. Of course, I agree. When I unrolled the product, it feels so plush. However, it does not look like what I saw on the website. It looks like it has been left out in the Sun and the design looks like it has been drawn in crayon. The product I received lacks the richness of detail and depth of color as seen in the product description. I'm sad to admit that I am highly disappointed and frustrated. I am now in the process of returning the carpet. I wish that I would have received one that looked just like what is shown online.

The rug arrived in record time but the pad I ordered at the same time has been delayed twice, it will now arrive in about another week. I did unroll the rug to look at it and found the color was slightly off from the picture but I expected that and I am happy with the color and design. There is an odor that I hope will dissipate after the pad arrives and it is in place. The only real disappointment was the size - the 8X10 rug is actually 9 ft 10 in X 7 ft 8 in. May not seem like much of a difference but 4 inches on the short side does make a difference in my space.

Not so nice rug

The colors of this rug were not what I wanted. It looked like a rug in my grandmother's home 40 years ago, so I did not keep it. On the positive side, it was a very thick rug.

Thick, well-made, muted colors

This is a very thick and well-made rug! The colors are not as vibrant as I had hoped, but it is still a very pretty rug, and we are keeping it!

Beautifully Detailed Wool Area Rug

Well made wool rug has beautiful details. I purchased the runner prior to this for a bathroom unfortunately it was too wide for the space (measurements stated were a few inches off on both width and length) I liked it, so it was moved to the adjoining bedroom and this smaller rug fit much better. As stated by others the colors and border are a bit different in comparison and the runner has more detail (sculpting the fibers around the pattern) but they don't have to be "matchy matchy" and I prefer that. They have just enough black to ground it with taupe, very pale pink & blue. The weight of the rug made it easy to flatten out in a short time. I didn't detect a strong smell since it's made from natural fibers. I would recommend a anti-slip under mat for safety. Not a lot of shedding.

Beautiful, luxurious expensive looking

This is a well constructed heavy, thick rug. By the end of the first day, it was completely flat. The carved detail elevates to super luxury.

Colors are not true to the picture. The picture shows lots of warm earth tones, but the one I received had a muted beige and unattractive blue colors.

Beige and gold

The rug is lovely. It has all the right colors for my decor. However, I would describe the major coloring as beige and gold rather than ivory and gold.

Absolutely gorgeous! I saw this rug first at Neiman Marcus and decided it was the exact colors that I needed for my entry hall. After searching the internet for the identical rug, I found it for 1/2 of the cost of what Neiman's was charging for it! Of course, I bought it and it looks beautiful in my entry way.

Although I didn't anticipate the amount of pink that is in this rug, it works. The rug is truly beautiful, works extremely well if you have "tan tones w/ black accents".MM

Just received this carpet. It is BEAUTIFUL. The colors stand out so well with the black border. The sculpting of this rug is top notch. Very well made. This is going on top of my regular carpet with a non-skid pad underneath. You can buy some really nice carpet pads on Overstock. I am using this to set off my furniture and create a "room within a room" so to speak. The colors were a bit lighter than on my screen but still well within my requirements. Also the main color in the center is more ivory than gold. I use black as an accent in my kitchen so this made a wonderful connection to that room. The design in this carpet is so beautiful. Take a minute to really look at all the beautiful different patterns within the whole of this carpet. I am also going to purchase a smaller size for a room that is next to my living room. These are wool and can be handed down to your children!

This rug looks amazing in my kitchen. The colors go well with my hardwood floors. Thick pile wool is hard to beat. Holds up to high traffic, and abuse. A little shedding has been present, but not disappointed with this quality piece.

Gorgeous rug in the picture, but when I got it the background was green/gray - not even close to the ivory in the picture. I sent it back. Overstock was great about it and paid the return fees

This rug looked perfect for my entryway, so I ordered the 4x6 size. It is listed as cream and the picture shows it as cream. It was GREEN background!! Nothing like the picture. The swirls were geometric. Very disappointed

Absolutely gorgeous! Perfect accent to bring in the light and dark accent colors. Excellent quality pile, soft, comfortable, intricate design and the 4x6 was the perfect size to anchor the living area space. Would definitely order this brand again. It arrived sooner than the expected delivery date as well so I'm very satisfied overall with this purchase.
