This rug is VERY overpriced considering what it is. The rug is a very thin wool that sheds terribly. The product color is as advertised, though. Also when I unrolled it for the first time there was a large grey stain. Thankfully I have been able to return this successfully with ease.

Color is more purple than you think

The color is different than what you see online. Some liked that it was more vibrant, but it was REALLY purple for me. I thought is was gonna be like a pale lavender/periwinkle with some hint of blue in it. . . It is like bright purple. Also the pattern was larger than expected and gave the rug a sort of barn door vibe. I got the runner, so it was a lot of that pattern down my hallway. Just my personal preference. I wasn't into it.

Good Rug

This rug is exactly what I was expecting for the price. It's not the highest quality material (I've notice a few fibers mixed in that are slightly thicker that have poked me--but they were easily removed). I also thought it'd have a bit more of a structured backing, but it's just a woven rug, identical on both sides. The pattern is great and I love the colors--perfect for my needs. If used in a room with too much white, though, I have a feeling the natural cream color may have a dirty appearance. Overall I am satisfied.

Not What I Was Expecting

Admittedly, this was an inexpensive rug, so I suppose you get what you pay for. My biggest issue was that it simply was the not the color in the photo. I was expecting a paler pink rug for my baby girl's nursery. Instead, it was closer to Pepto Bismol pink. Secondly, the quality wasn't up to my standards. There were areas on the rug where there were dark threads woven in that looked dirty and worn. Some would say this is just the nature of the weave, but I have many rugs like this in my home and none of them look so tired. I'd rather spend more and get better quality.
