There is blue in this rug, and thank you to those reviewers who mentioned it because it made me buy the rug. The rug is gorgeous. It is thick and soft underfoot and perfect for our primary bedroom. I’ve never had a wool rug before and so far I love it. This rug came marked as Safavieh. It certainly has that quality to it. Fair warning - when we unrolled it, there was small pieces of weird trash inside? Like a used match, hard plastic pieces…. The rug was not damaged at all, but that was weird. Also, I filled my vacuum canister 3 times with white fluff when I vacuumed it. There will be small lint pieces for a little while, but I imagine that will subside in time. It’s not a big deal for me. The beauty and quality of the rug makes up for that.

Blue/Green tones not Gray/Cream

This rug is beautiful. It does have a blue green tone like some of the photos show. This is what I wanted so it is perfect but if you are looking for a gray/cream rug just know it also has blue gray tones in it. Well made and rolled out with out any creases. It was packaged very well and arrived in a few days.

Pretty but not soft.

This color is a lot more turquoise than I wanted but has a darker blue color in the background. I painted the walls the dark blue and it toned it down well. It is thick but not real soft. We have it in bathroom so it is taking a little getting used to for the roughness. I do like the freshness of the pattern and that it came in a large size that I needed.
