Rug was falsely advertised

This rug was so disappointing. i didn't send it back because we had already cut the under mat/pad to fit the rug and my husband had a fit when I asked him to pull it up to roll up and sent back. His reasoning was that I only paid for the rug and it's to much trouble to return. So I'm stuck with it. The shag diamonds on my rug are all off and not perfect. I thought when I vacuumed it would pull up the fibers and the diamonds would appear straight but that didn't happen. It looks like a drunk man ran the loom. The gray color in the rug is a pretty color and it ha more of an off white background (not a true white white). The rug is thin but thankfully I ordered a real thick pad to go under the rug. I would never recommend this rug to anyone with kids crawling because it's not soft. I am 100% disappointed but I have high expectation and taste. One positive though, I have not had any of the loops of shag to shed or pull out. No, I would never buy this rug again, never. And had my husband been willing to cooperate with me to move off all the heavy furniture and roll the rug up, then I would have sent this cheap quality rug back. In the future when I have more money and able to find another rug, I will move this rug to the back bedroom under the bed where you can't see the wobbly pattern of diamonds because the bed will be on top of most the rug.
