Love this rug

This is the second time I’ve ordered this rug. I had the 4x6 for several years and liked it so much I went back for the 5x5. It’s such a good neutral rug without being boring. Even though it had silver gray in it comes off as a warmer tone.

Beautiful Rug

I bought this rug for my bathroom and it is thick and has a tight weave. The color is as on my monitor and is a gray with variation in the gray colors throughout. It is very beautiful and has a contemporary feel to it. It is a quality product.

I have been searched for a wool rug for a long time and thought this was the one. It arrived incredibly fast within 48 hours of order. It was beautifully packed for shipping in a double bag and cardboard fittings to protect the ends. It rolled out flat very quickly with minimal "rug" smell that dissipated quickly. Due to the closed loop design it did not shed. The loops were slightly larger than what I expected. I would have kept it except that the rug I ordered is labeled "blue/ivory" and the rug looks green. The "blue" is a pale robin's egg blue, but the primary color in the rug is muddy brownish grey. And the overall blended color effect is a khaki, sage, muddy green neutral color. The "ivory" does not look as light and bright as it does in the photos, even when I shine a bright focused light from 3 feet away. The pattern looks looks close to the pictures, but it is a little looser in effect (more tribal) than folkart. I like Safavieh, they have nice designs that suit the fashions of today but look classic at the same time. Because of the closed loop construction, the rug feels rougher and firmer to the touch compared with the other wool rugs I have including my wool flat weave.

Very pretty and nice quality!

Beautiful rug, great value

We searched for a quality wool rug forever before purchasing this. It is dense, closely looped wool in ivory and neutral silver and light greys, blended and shaded, with slight pops of charcoal. Its subtle pattern is slightly Nordic or modern farmhouse looking. It looks very close to the pictures. It rolled out flat right away, with no heavy unpleasant smell and very little shedding. It arrived quickly, in highly effective packaging to keep it clean and dry with no unnecessary packing. It compared favorably with designer wool looped rugs at double the price, and would look great with many off white, neutral grey areas. It is a higher pile than I expected (about 1/2 in), soft to the touch wool with a cotton backing that will not scratch our flooring, even without a rug pad. While the larger size does not slip because of the weight, I would recommend a non-skid pad for smaller sizes. It's beautiful!
