Yes, this rug does shed (as other reviewers have said). Each time I vaccuum, the dirt cup contains a lot of "rug fuzz." However, this rug is a perfect fit for my room, which I wanted to lighten and brighten while adding the warm feeling of home. It does all of this...beautifully!
