These 3 round rugs replaced solid blue ones. What a difference!They’re bright without being gaudy. The colors are exactly as shown so they enhance the colors in my living room. They were well packaged for shipping and they are wool., but there has been no unusual odor nor any pilling. They lay very flat and my only negative is that I wish they were a little softer. All in all a good choice . So far, kid and dog worthy.

The colors are not as depicted on line. The orange is more peach and the peach is more pink. But the rug is still gorgeous. The background is definitely black…not brown.

Love the colors and pattern! . The only issue was that when we unwrapped it (tightly in plastic) there are some wrinkles that won’t lay flat. Hoping it will calm down after awhile…

The rug is beautiful but arrived with an unpleasant odor. This is from being folded for shipping, like it got wet and is wool. Like it was in a basement. Following directions with rolling and then opening after 48 hours. Packaging was smelly too. Silica gel packets small and wet. . . Houzz will not k et ne return this product. Instead, they issued to me a credit. Why would I want another bad smelling rug??

This rug sheds terribly! We've had it for a few months now, and it is still shedding way too much. Each time we have vacuumed this rug over the last 4 months or so, we have had a gallon or more of loose fibers come up. My husband thinks there is a problem with the manufacturing of this rug. I do not recommend buying it.

The pictures online are completely different from the actually rug. First it is not grey, it’s a light beige color background with black . Design. It’s not soft at all. It’s wool and it’s a good quality rug but I was looking for a ‘ glam ‘ look to go with the rest of my house and this rug is much more traditional looking in person. It a completely different look than the pics.

The color of the carpet was completely different from the gold-based picture. At first, I thought that the wrong carpet was delivered. The actual rug is basically red and off-white, instead of gold and dark brown. A gold-based picture had been purchased, based on the colors of the rug in the picture. The rug is thick and seems to be of good quality, but if the rug is being purchased, based at all, on the colors in the picture - I recommend that you make a different purchase. . The weight and size of the rug is cumbersome, and hard to manage, as the heavy rug is folded in half and wrapped in plastic. For the size and price, it would have been better being shipped in a cardboard box.

How a rug would feel is an important factor. Not having this option when buying online makes you skeptical so you have to rely on customer reviews. What I found after receiving the runner was that it is of good quality, thick, soft and very rustic look. I have had a good experience so far buying rugs from Houzz. This was the second one and I am shopping for the third one now.

I love the quality. It is very thick and luxurious. The colors were a bit of a disappoint. They are not the ivory of the pics but rather a brownish beige. The other colors are predominately dark green, not the blue and red that were depicted. However it works well in my room and you can’t beat the quality for the price.

I love the feel and look of a real wool rug. There's none of that smell that comes with man made products. This rug makes a beautiful statement in my main living space. It needs vacuuming to get rid of new rug shed for the first while, but that's no big deal. . When it first arrived I did put add heavy books on one end to flatten it as it was not rolled great, but it didn't take long for that not to be noticable.

Good value

The rest of my living room furnishings are very conservative and subdued, so I wanted something to "pop". When I saw this rug, it reminded me of one of my grandmothers and the type of rugs she had in her house in the 50's. The selling point that tipped the sale was that the rug is wool. I am aware that the new acrylics, especially the ones from Italy are much better than synthetic rugs used to be, but wool is still my favorite material for rugs. . . . . If you are thinking of this, I should point out that the colors are actually brighter than they look in the photo. Also the background is less green and more of a federal blue. This rug is obviously not to everyones taste and I am rather surprised that I bought it myself. . . . . That said it goes a long way to brightening up a dull space and at least on my floor, didn't even need anti-skid padding. . . . . Update: Having lived with this rug for a while, I still like it a lot. I have received a lot of compliments about its appearance. HOWEVER, and it is kind of a big however, the wool in the rug is a very soft yarn and since this is a hooked rug and not a knotted rug the wool pills. Or more accurately I have to vacuum big fuzz balls up on a regular basis. I plan on keeping the carpet, though eventually if I can find another rug in the same palette that has an equally impactful design I will retire this carpet regardless of how much I like it.

Color too muted for my taste ...

This rug was delivered quickly and arrived in excellent shape. I was a disappointed in the rug's colors, though. It appears to be more muted than what's shown in the product photo online. I thought the colors would be more saturated, with a more golden look. The rug really has more beige overtones. Not what I expected. After seeing this rug, I changed plans on where to place it and found another spot for it in my home, where I think it'll work just fine. (It won't be as visible.)

color and style

I did a lot of research on Houzz and Wayfair to find the right rug in the right size and shape. This fit my requirements perfectly, but of course yours may be different. I picked this rug for the oval shape and the color and design. I was pleased that the color of the rug I received matches what you see on the web site. The only small flaw is that the pile is quite thin. I'll probably buy a pad to make it softer on the feet. But I'm not surprised at this, as the price is pretty low for a 100% wool rug of this size.
