Scratchy Polka Dots
I have many Safavieh rugs that are beautiful. This one is not. First, the photos are deceiving as it is a polka dot rug. If you want that, great. I did not. Second, though the rug is wool and cotton, it is very scratchy and not soft at all. The backing and overall quality was less than expected from Safavieh. It is more like a slightly thicker burlap bag as a rug.
The rug is wonderfull and soft.

Arrived quickly. Rug isn’t too heavy so it’s fairly easy to move. Looks nice. It’s a bit lighter colored than expected, though. Would recommend.

Great look & feel, poor quality.
The knotted, textural look was perfect for a cozy masculine bedroom, and it felt really nice and soft underfoot for such a short pile. Shortly after unrolling, I noticed a number of fraying and loose threads throughout which didn't bode well for the lifespan of the rug, as well as a handful of mysterious bright red and blue fibers which looked like plastic. So much potential! Perhaps I just received a less-than-stellar product.
Nice quality - i ordered the brown/beige and they're definitely "dots." Could be overwhelming in a small room. Will need a rug pad.

Great Thin Wool Rug
Thinner wool rug that is perfect for an office or dining room. The brown looks really nice against a wood floor while the ivory brightens it up. Has held up well in our office with pets.
