Tough rug
This is definitely better suited to outdoor use. It has a coarse texture to the pile, not a soft pile like most indoor rugs. The weave allows moisture and dust/sand to fall through. It comes rolled up and takes a little time to flatten out. After relaxing overnight, I used carpet tape to hold it and prevent slipping because it does not have any type of non-slip backing. It looks like it will hold up well to weather on our patio.
Very utilitarian, but still pretty!
I have two dogs. In Wisconsin. They track in snow in the winter and rain/mud all year long. I have tried other rugs to catch the mess, but the door won't close over them, and the dogs easily avoid waling on anything smaller. So, I have been using an old towel and drying eight paws every time they come in.
A nice rug runner for our hallway!
This runner is true to size, has rich colors just like seen on the website but is a tad bit thin. Overall - a good runner. We liked that the colors are as we saw online. The piling is low, so easy to not only vacuum, but you can sweep it clean with a broom too. It is a bit thin, so a rug pad or other rug stickies will be needed to help it stay in place - the rug pad will help it feel a bit thicker too.
Another Winner
Can't afford new carpet just yet so I ordered a pretty rug to cover a bad spot. I love the pattern, and my cats enjoy the surface.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I choose the right size rug for my living room?
Aim for a rug that fits all the main furniture pieces on it or at least the front legs of sofas and chairs to anchor the space.
Can I layer rugs for added texture and interest?
Absolutely, layering rugs can add depth and dimension. Pair a larger, neutral rug with a smaller, patterned rug for the best effect.
What's the best way to clean and maintain my rug?
Vacuum regularly, spot clean spills immediately, and consider professional cleaning for deep stains or at least annually for high-traffic rugs.
How does rug size impact the balance of my living room?
A rug that extends the full length of the sofa can help balance the room. A small rug can make the sofa look disproportionately large.
What should I consider when positioning rugs in relation to doors and furniture?
Ensure the rug doesn't obstruct doorways or get caught on the doors. It should also not interfere with the operation of any cabinets or cupboards that open into the room.
Are there practical tips for maintaining rugs and prolonging their appearance?
Rotate your rugs annually to even out wear and fade, and address spills or flattening promptly to maintain their look and feel. For more substantial size or shape adjustments, consider having rugs cut and edged professionally.
What are some considerations for choosing a rug in relation to the sofa?
Select a rug large enough to cover the area beneath the entire sofa, which helps in unifying the space and balancing the room's proportions.
What is the recommended rug size for a living room with a sectional sofa?
The rug should not be shorter than the length of the sofa and should be wide enough to fit under all pieces of a sectional, or at least allow for the front legs to be on the rug.
Can I use a round rug with a rectangular table?
Generally, it's best to match the shape of the rug with the table. Therefore, avoid pairing a round rug with a rectangular table and vice versa for visual harmony.
