Worked great until it did not.

I bough this October of 2023 and the unit worked great for a while. Then after six months of use the fan started knocking. After a great deal of effort I figured out how to contact the manufacturer (JHS). I filed a warranty claim. They gave me instructions on how to diagnosis the problem. I sent JHS a video of the problem.. They responded by email that they agreed that the wind turbine was broken and they would provide me a solution. After that email i have heard nothing in over 1-1/2 months. Lowes need to pick manufacturers that give actual customer service.

Not a quality product!

The fan if not balanced, it shakes excessively.

Love these A/C’s

I like that it’s all self contained, so I don’t have to worry about draining. I bought my 1st 1 in July 2023 %26 2nd one Aug 2024.

I love this unit, have it in the front room and I have to shut it down, because it gets so cold. I highly recommend this unit.

got ripped off

bought this JHS/DENBIG AC w/ a 1 yr warranty from DENBIG and compressor quit working correctly 10mos later. emailed warranty support and they confirmed the compressor is bad, but will not replace or fix it saying it is out of their hands. compressor runs at 250 deg and keeps overheating. save yourself heartache and get something different.

This didn't perform well for long.

It leaked from the start, and after about 5 months use, it started making a horrible clattering noise and was so loud it shook the house. It worked noisily for not quite a year, then just died.

I was hesitant at first because there were only 2 reviews and on top of that they were promotional reviews and not sure if they were honest or not but i went ahead and made the purchase I’ve only used it once and I have to say it’s worth it this bad boy cooled my living room down within 45 mins something my old ac has never done and living in a upper apartment with no ceiling fans and old crank windows I can’t fit a traditional air conditioner in my windows it was always 90 degrees inside my house …. This works efficiently, has a remote control even when the ac is off it lets you know how cool or hot it is in the house which I thought was a nice feature to have

Ordered it and within a year it broke down and coolant leaked. JHS is unresponsive when it comes to honoring their warranty.

walmart has crap customer service on overseas products

Every item I've purchased from Lowe's is damaged.

Just opened the box and there is oil over the entire unit and the housing is cracked. Lowe's refuses to take it back.

Cools well but built cheap

I’ve had this for less than a year, and it is already broken and unusable. When it did work it cooled very well and could cool the whole house on its own. However, it’s made with lots of cheap plastic and part of the motor broke off with normal usage.

had to return. UPS damaged and then reboxed it. Delivered it. Wrong manual and damged. Had to take it back myself to customer service. Too heavy for me to lift. But Walmart helped me get through the process. Probably will just het a window unit instead

absolute garbage

it showed up with one of the bolts for the compressor broken off of the housing before i even plugged it in. now on day 2 of using it, it won't cool down to 61 and it's 70 outside. will be returning and getting a device that actually works. this air conditioner should be illegal to sell, plus the company that makes them doesn't have any customer support contacts, so the warranty is meaningless.

Product worked great until it didn’t. Had this unit for 9 mos and then one day, the fan would make this really loud noise. Contacted manufacturer but there’s been no resolution. It’s been almost 2 weeks with no response. Would not recommend
