Exactly as described!
The countertop is beautiful, however, we expected it to be at least oiled based on the description. It is sanded, half the shops sawdust came with the package I think. This will be wonderful when it’s installed, just will have more steps than we planned for to accomplish that end. Happy and unhappy at the same time. After waiting a long time for the countertop to be made, we don’t want to ship it back but had I known it was completely raw, I may have thought twice- nowhere in the description does it say this, no instructions or suggestions came with it either.

A rugged black walnut cutting board at a great price!
overall a good piece of wood. Some pits (natural) that I was not expecting and still covered in stain which had to be cleaned before we oiled it. So far so good, still renovating so it has not been officially installed yet but I dont foresee any other issues.
