This a great light over a bed for direct light with a switch on the light itself. We also liked the hardwired version. It looks nice on classic gray paint by Benjamin Moore.

These lights are amazing! I love that they are wired directly and no cords, I love the swivel of the lights for perfect reading lights! I also love the modern design of these lights.

I liked them a lot, but I wish the arm can be more flexible you can't lower it , it has few possibilities to accommodate.

The arm on the light moves in many different directions. He light itself is bright but not blindingly bright!

The arms on these lamps do not hang square. They droop at a weird angle no matter how you readjust them. We had ordered these previously in a different color and had the same problem, we reordered in black thinking maybe the first set we got were a bad lot, but the second pair are defective also. Very dissatisfied.
