I am a retired farrier(horseshoer) and as a result i have a bad back. I have had several adjustable beds over the years. My wife and I recently bought the classic+ split king with medium soft mattress. The bed is comfortable for my back and both my wife and I enjoy a good night's rest. The people at Sven and Son were pleasant and accommodating. I will simply add that if you pay for set up make sure you know that the legs are in 3 parts. Each leg separates into 8", 2", and 2" so you can have the height that you want.

Classic + Adjustable Choice Bundle

Just bought this bundle for our Anniversary! We love it! The Zero Gravity button is phenomenal! We love how we can have our own settings without bothering the each other. We worried about the space in between but it really has not been an issue. It’s really easy to put together, customer service is the best, helpful, friendly and fast.

Lots of bells and whistles, but….

I really like the adjustability of this bed base. The vibration action feels great. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the under bed lighting doesn’t stay on until I turn it off. The first night we used it, it was a great nightlight with it on so we didn’t use any other lowlight devices. When I had to get up in the middle of the night, it was pitch black in our bedroom. For the money we paid for this, it should be up to me when it’s on or off.

Classic Plus base

Great base overall. Very well made and sturdy. It didn't exactly look like the base on the website and didn't have the holes to add the mattress support bars near the head to keep it from sliding like it showed online, but, not a huge deal. I do think the headboard brackets should come with the base as well. Aside from those small things, it is an awesome base at a very affordable price. I would recommend it to anyone.

Very High Quality Bed!

This is an incredible bed! During the unpacking I noticed how things were put together. Beaufifully engineered, very solid and durable. Yes the frame is heavy, but that is the way I want it. I had the whole thing put together is less than 1 hour. The mattress is also very high quality and neatly stitched together. Everything worked exactly as expected, very smooth and quiet operation. If anything does go wrong it looks like it is easy to fix myself by just obtaining the part, which when initially discussing with the sales people, is easy to do. So glad I went whth S&S. I did look around. Yes, there are less expensive beds but be careful... you get what you pay for.

Classic + series bed

We received our bed and the box was pretty beat up. When we opened it part of the bottom of one of the mattress sides was ripped. That was the only disapponiting part of this experience. The bed was pretty easy to put together, though the instructions are a bit vague. The bed is very comfortable and we are enjoying the head and foot being elevated. It has definitely improved my husbands snoring. I tried getting on the app but it won't bring anything up after I put in the language as English. I highly recommend the bed!

Amazing and comfy, easy setup

Me and my wife had this thing put together inside of probably 30 minutes! The mattresses, controls, lighting are all amazing. If I had just one complaint, it's just the split king setup in general. The beds come apart pretty much 1 to 2 times a day. Couldn't something be placed on the outside edges of the frame to hold the mattresses together a bit better? I know they adjust so they can't be fastened together, but I feel something could still improve this setup. I'd give it a 4.8 out of 5!

Review

I found the mattress to be a little firmer than I like, but I feel it is still breaking in. I wish I had gone with a mattress that was not quite so thick (the bed is tall even on a low bed frame) because I'm only 5'2" and I struggle a bit to get into the bed. I ordered a king platform bed and removed the bars inside its frame and put the two, bed bases directly inside it. I also purchased a mattress band to keep the two beds together better and eliminate sliding around. I purchased a mattress bridge to get rid of the hole in the middle and make it more comfortable if you lay on that spot. I purchased a regular set of deep pocket king-size sheets from Amazon (not split set) to go over the bridge I use in the middle of the mattresses and cover both of them.

Classic Split King Adjustable Bed Bundle

Had an overall great experience working with Sven & Son! Purchased the Classic Split King with 14-inch plush mattress bundle. The staff was professional, patience, and knowledgeable. I spoke with them and considered this purchase over a period of months. Each time I called with questions Tim answered all of my questions with knowledge and insight. I reviewed a lot of different adjustable beds before making a final decision about this major purchase with Sven & Son. I selected in-house white glove delivery and set-up. This was a professional and knowledgeable team, as well. They clearly knew what they were doing, had set up these beds before, and my bed was fully operational when they finished. For anyone considering an adjustable bed, I highly recommend Sven & Son and I would purchase from them again, if desired. I love my bed :-)

best sleep in years

I have had an adjustable bed base on my wish list for years. I researched recommendations and landed at Sven and Son. I already own a compatible mattress, so I only purchased the base. I am twelve sleeps in on the Classic+ Queen base. Combatting nighttime reflux is the main goal, so I sleep at a considerable incline all night. I've not had a good, uninterrupted sleep like this since since forever ago, years.

Best sleep in a long time

I really like this bed.. the boxes were extremely heavy so I don’t recommend trying to but this together by yourself but the assembly was so quick and easy. Comfort wise, I love the 14’ plush.. I could have stood for it to be a bit softer but it’s still extremely comfortable especially when you have it adjusted to your liking. Also I didn’t think I would like the massage feature because I prefer kneading over vibration but I have to say that the vibration is actually a nice touch. Other little small things that just makes sense are the flash lights on the Remote and under the bed. The only things that I would change are how long the back light stays on when using the remote because it immediately cuts off when you lift your finger so I’m often fumbling with the buttons at night. The other thing (that I am about to change now) are side rails. My mattresses seem to drift apart so there’s often a gap between them and the sides hang over the frame after I get in and out the bed or adjust. So hopefully the side rails fix that issue. But overall this was a great purchase for the price.

I have only had this adjustable base for about a month, and to date, I only have good things to say about it. I purchased the NL 400F by Sven & Son from the SleepGeekz. I purchased a number bed mattress else where and it works fine on this base. Here are a few things that I find good about it that do not show up in all of the other adjustable bases that I researched:1. The motors are smooth and quiet.2. The wide range of adjustable positions suit every need or desire.3. The number mattress works fine on it and does not walk from side to side and is held firmly in place with the foot retaining bar.4. The wireless remote is intuitive and easy to use in the dark and includes, under bed lighting, flashlight, 3 different vibration modes, and about a dozen other features not found on many of the more expensive competitors.5. I have seen comments that this base is heavy. That is a good thing. The weight and design of this base give no shaking, wobbling, or instability of some others. The multiple options for leg height also allow you to choose the right height for your finished bed.So far so good. I give this product a five star rating.

exceptional bed

We purchased this bed and the mattresses after much research and price comparing. I contacted the company via chat to ask about the mattresses because I was unsure which would be best. After chatting with Tim, I purchased the split king with the 14" hybrid mattress. I ordered on a Friday and the beds came the following Wednesday, very happy with the quick shipping of such large items. The delivery person was kind enough to bring the boxes into my home even though it is curbside delivery. The base boxes were heavy by I pushed them into my bedroom on furniture movers one at a time and had no issues. I watched the video on the website (mercifully short and to the point) to assemble and we had the bed together and plugged in in less than 10 minutes. The mattress box is very heavy and it took my husband and I both to move into the bedroom. There was some confusion with the mattress boxes. I received 2 boxes instead of 1 box. Tim from customer service was very helpful and resolved the issue immediately. Both mattresses for the split king are vacuum sealed and are in one box. The mattresses fully expand after 48 hours. I slept just fine on the mattress the first night even though it wasn't done expanding. There was no odor to the mattresses as mentioned in other reviews. My husband and I both have chronic pain issues and he occasionally snores and has reflux. Since sleeping in the bed, he does not snore with the head of the bed elevated and has no reflux. I woke up today with no hip or neck pain like I usually have in the morning. I slept all night and did not wake up thru the night as I have in the past. The mattress and bed are incredibly comfortable. My husband likes the bed and slept well also. I like that he is not snoring. My dog also found the bed very comfortable :) The remote is easy to use and love the massage feature & the flashlight. I am very happy with this purchase. It was a great price, the transaction was easy, the shipping was fast, set up was quick and easy, and the customer service I received was top notch. I highly recommend this company and their products.
