3" memory foam mattress topper by Sealy

I developed severe back/hip pain from Sciatica. After purchasing my Sealy memory foam mattress topper for my queen size bed, I was able to sleep without pain again. My daughter, who also has back problems, is using her 3" King size mattress topper, that I purchased for her at BJ's, as I was certain it would help alleviate her pain also.

Better than I had hoped!

We have an apartment over our garage that we have let people stay in. We've had to stay there currently due to remodeling our bedroom in our home. I found the hard queen bed unable to sleep on, so I purchased this mattress topper from BJ's. It is so comfortable and has solved my issues with the bed. Now I feel bad for having guests sleep on that hard mattress before.

Works on a very firm mattress

This did wonders for keeping me aligned so I didn't wake up with a pinched nerve. Oddly, it made the arthritis aches in my hips worse. Probably too soft. I've put a firmer memory foam pillow under my hips and that seems to help.

Memory bed topper

Memory mattress did not work On bed used by one person. A memory works only on the side where that person slept. If you tried to roll over you climbed a mountain literally. Very uncomfortable. It was returned to the store.

IT DOES ITS JOB

Needed this to top a bariatric hospital bed for home use. So far it's doing its job although it's not an exact fit, Not sure how durable it will be over time. I do love the fact Sesly does provide a quilted cover for this topper that fits.

My bed is like new!

This is a very comfortable change for my bed. I have Fibromyalgia and arthritis so it's difficult to get a restful sleep. This mattress topper is just what I needed. I'm sleeping better now. The only problem is now I don't want to get out of bed in the morning!

Still evaluating

Arrived well wrapped intact and without damage. Would have liked directions on which end was width or length. Actually it unrolls lengthwise. Placed on bed about 9am and able to sleep on it that night expanded fairly quickly. Smell took about 3 days to dissipate. fabric for cover very silky feeling, well made with very deep pockets fitting my 16 in mattress plus the 3 inch memory foam with ease, Sleeping longer through night and more comfortable. Some warming felt from foam by morning but not excessive unsure what summer will be like. Having less back pain in am but not gone.

Crazy comfortable

This topper is big, like chunky foamy goodness big. I’m in love with how comfortable this has made my bed, it’s a struggle to get out every morning. The cover is great quality and I’m able to fit my mattress cover and deeper set of sheets over this as well. Highly recommend, it’s like sleeping on a cloud.

Immense relief!

I’ve only had it a few weeks, but so far so good. Being a combo sleeper….( mainly side, but wind up on my back) I was looking for something to help alleviate issues with numbness and pain, and this memory foam topper has greatly helped! I weigh about 220lbs, and have disc issues in my neck and lower back, and also daily pain from fibromyalgia. Ive noticed I haven’t been waking up as sore or numb as before. It’s doesn’t seem to make me too hot either, which is a definite plus! Would definitely recommend!

Highly recommended just be careful moving it

This topper has made all the difference in the comfort of our older mattress which was contributing to back pain. It is very comfortable and can save you from having to buy an expensive new mattress. Glad I took the chance and bought it. I'm only giving it 4 stars because it's very heavy and nearly impossible to move without damaging it (chunks tear at contact points where you pick it up). Found this out upon letting it fluff upon arrival in a different location and then moving it to the mattress we're using it on. Still, I would buy it 100 times over. It's that awesome.

Good quality, comfortable foam topper

Nice, dense topper for this thickness range. Perfect for the thickness of what I was looking for with the included topper. Little to no odor upon unpacking that did dissipate overnight when left with an unmade bed. I did not find it retained heat, and having purchased many toppers over the years, I found this one of very good quality.

I love this topper!!

I have a 12 in combo memory and regular foam mattress. It was hot in the summer and getting softer for my back. I finally decided to get the topper with the Chill Gel memory foam. It is firmer, but not too firm. The temperature is definitely cooler too. I was having severe back issues and this has helped quite a bit. I really love it.

Love This Mattress Topper!

This mattress topper is great! My wife and I were looking at getting new mattress but I stumbled upon this. Our current mattress isn't as comfy as it once was so I took the chance and purchased this mattress topper. So glad I did! I rarely have been able to sleep through an entire night the last several years. The first night we slept on it, both of us slept completely through the night. In fact, I am not sure I even moved during the night. Wholly recommend this mattress topper whether you like firm or plush. You will love it.

Love this one!!

First time I laid on this topper I went into a trance. This pad is fantastic. I BOUGHT THE FULL SIZE. The mattress I put it on actually had a slight creased area horizontally across the middle and this topper makes it non existent. I bought the Sealy memory foam reversible pillows too. My 96 soon to be 97 yr old mother loved the pillow. She's always complaining about her neck. Thanks Sealy and BJ's. I'm going back today to get another Sealy topper and a few more pillows.

Terrible Smell

I was hopeful that this topper would help with my back problems. Unfortunately, this was not the case.

[Rewarded Review] Improved my sleep

I received the Queen foam mattress and it fit my bed perfectly. It comes tightly rolled and you just set it on top of the bed and unroll. The mattress cover that comes with this is really quite nice. I did wash it beforehand and it also fit nicely over the mattress. It feels sort of squishy but not in a bad way. It is very dense and I think it will hold up for the long run. I wii admit that it felt a little weird to sleep on it the first few times, but like anything else, your body will adapt to it. It is very comfortable and each night feels better to sleep on. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed. SEALY always makes quality products.
