It's a new bed with this memory foam!

OMG! I wish I tried this sooner. My partner & I started waking up with back issues. I pondered getting this memory foam for a few weeks. Then, tI took the plunge. So glad I did. We're so pleased with the purchase (& not having to purchase a new mattress). It's so comfortable & I don't feel him when he toss & turn. Each night feels like the first we put it on our bed. Certainly, the best use of our money!

not impressed

we bought this and had on bed one night. rec'd the 3inch instead of 2 inch that we ordered. bed was so high I had to hold on to my walker to get on it. it was way too soft and could not move around. it was not cool as described. it actually got very warm. neither of us had a good night sleep and at one point my husband actually slide out of the bed. the instructions were very vague. took it back to store next day.

Not cooling!!!

I bought this thinking I would get the same kind I got a couple of years ago. I had given my son my other one. But it is definitely not the same. It is not cooling at all!! Looks very different too. The last one had like cloud white marks on it. This one is plain blue and warm to the touch. Very disappointed! I am in Menopause and really was looking forward to having the same kind I had last time.

Nothing more than trash. This product is a 3" thick faded nasty looking, old polyurethane topper with a mattress pad. It is NOTHING like the picture or description. Customer service told me that I can't return it because it has been opened. I explained that it was in a white plastic wrap that I couldn't see through. I could not tell that it wasn't what was advertised until the packaging was opened and I could see the item. My claim is under review now. Let's hope they stand behind their product.

Highly recommend this topper

I bought this topper for my twin hospital bed and it was the best pur hass I've made in a long time. I'm recovering from a stroke and I have a pressure wound on my spine that kept me awake in pain due to the mattress on the hospital bed being uncomfortable. This topper is extremely comfortable and is helping my wound heal. I also have psoriatic psoriasis and I find it's much better for that also. Well worth the monsy and comes with a nice cover also. I'm finally catching up on much needed sleep.

Product changed from four years ago, awful

Bought this two weeks ago to replace what I thought was same as one I bought four years ago. Foam now solid blue instead of swirled, and clearly different, as it is very warm at night-not cooling. I've woken up with a sore lower back every morning. BJs won't take back because used, said call Sealy. Sealy won't do anything because it came from BJs. VERY upset...

This memory foam mattress topper is so comfortable and our sleep greatly improved. Our original firm mattress has a 30 year guarantee and we have flipped and turned it every three months since we got it 25+ years ago. A few years ago, we needed to "soften" the firmness and this topper was the perfect short term solution. Very happy with it.

Happy with my purchase

Received it yesterday slept on it one night. read other reviews. No odor, puffs up in less than 15 minutes. I would say it's firm gel foam. I weight less than 200lbs and I slept very well last night, better than usual. Speaking to it keep you cool, probable not but I sleep with the ac on in summer and thermostat pretty low in winter and heavy covers to boot. I do have job related back issues but woke up feeling good this am. My daughter complained about other gel tops she bought that were too soft. I am recommending this to her bc I believe it's a good fit for her. the only down side is I have to find deeper corner sheets since I added and extra 4".

wish I tried this matress topper years ago!

I have a very firm mattress and was using a conventional mattress topper for many years. My wife kept asking for a foam mattress, finally found the Sealy Gel memory form topper at a price worth trying. At 3" it is the perfect topper! you don't sink so deep that you need to swim your way around. It is very comfortable in any position (side or back). Only concern is that there really is nothing "chill" or cool about gel memory foam. It maybe chiller or cooler than non-gel, but memory foam sleeps warm. We'll be getting a set of lighter blankets for next summer. But we won't be taking the topper off, it is too comfortable!
