Misleading: It's a mattress cover, not a pad
The description and price for this mattress pad sounded too good to be true and were. "Soft" refers to how the fabric feels upon touch (which doesn't matter much, since a fitted sheet goes on top of it). Add "quilted," and the description suggests a cushioned layer of comfort. Reality: This is the flattest mattress pad that I've ever bought. "Mattress cover" is a more accurate description - there is no padding.
