sides far too stretch; everything bunches up

My family has always been loyal to the Eddie Bauer brand. This mattress pad is not up to standard; it is a waste of money, even on sale. The top seems to be of a nice thickness, but it bunches up because the sides are like a cheap sock. They stretch out a lot, so the top bunches up into folds. It's very uncomfortable to lie on; you will constantly try to straighten it out. With great regret, I am going to fold it up and use it as a dog bed.

won't hold shape

This was a very disappointing purchase. Eddie Bauer usually brings home great quality; my parents were fans and so am I. BUT. I spent $90 on this mattress pad, which was a deep discount for them, a splurge for me. I thought I was investing in something to last a lifetime. BUT. The top of the pad is fine, but the sides are made of a cheap, limp stretchy material. They'll hug the mattress at first; you'll think everything looks great. But over time (only weeks!) they'll lose their strength and the pad will move around and form ridges under you that make it very difficult to to sleep. It's $90 wasted; I'll have to throw it away or see if I can preserve the top to make a quilt. The sides are that bad.

Not bad but

I am a full time BBB employee who received this in exchange for honest feedback. It is a little too crinkly sounding for me even with sheets on. Otherwise it feels soft, just don't love the sounds when laying down or moving around.

Comfortable

I am a Beyond Inc employee and received this product free of charge in exchange for an honest review. The quality of the mattress topper is top quality. It was easy to place on the bed. I also appreciate that it is waterproof and protects the mattress in addition to being padding. It is machine washable, which means it is comfortable and easy to maintain. I noticed additional comfort compared to my other mattress protectors.

Soundless and Breathable.

I've slept on plenty of waterproof mattress pads that ended up making me sweat through the night and caused a lot of discomfort and sound whenever I moved. This pad does not do that. I find it very comfortable, feels breathable and makes no sound. The pad does fit slightly loose which would be my only complaint. I would like it to be a bit more snug. Great mattress pad and hold true to being waterproof. Got this mattress pad because I was looking for something that would protect my mattress. This mattress pad fits perfectly on the bed without any bulkiness and give you a little more cushion to your mattress. Add a bit of extra cushion without making it look bulky under my sheets. Makes no noises. Spilled water and it did not steep through. As it was on the edge most of the water just rolls off. Waterproof but doesn't feel or sound like it

We needed a mattress protector for my daughter's 8-inch memory foam mattress. The pad feels pretty soft and plush, and doesn't have a plasticy crinkle sound like some other waterproof pads. I was worried about two things with putting a pad on it. First, 8 inches isn't very thick, so I was afraid the pad would be too loose. Second, she loves the feeling of memory foam, and I was worried the pad would diminish the experience. Turns out, this pad performs great in both cases. You can see in the picture that it still fits snug on the mattress, and she said it doesn't feel any different when she sleeps on it. Definitely recommend. A worthy contender with some nice features.

I am an employee of Beyond Inc and I received this product at no cost in exchange for an honest review. The quality of the mattress pad seems very high. It is well crafted and the materials on the top feel premium. I really liked the TrueStay skirt. It was easy to put on the bed and has been very secure and staying in place. I also appreciate that it is waterproof and protects the mattress as well as being a pad. It is machine washable which means it has convenience and easy to maintain. The temperature seems to stay nice when I sleep on it. I don't wake up hot and sweaty. I didn't notice any additional comfort added when compared to my other mattress pads. My wife has fibromyalgia so any downgrade in comfort is realized pretty much immediately, especially with her hips and it's been doing fine. It looks and feels higher quality than our other mattress pads, has the TreueStay sides and is waterproof. I feel that these features makes it a worthwhile investment despite not significantly enhancing comfort compared to other pads. Overall it's a win!

The top is good quality. The sides are that cheap and easily ripped material you find on cheap mattress pads.!
