Difficult to install

It is hard to install because of the weight (about 80 lbs) and the screws that come with it should be discarded. They are slot haded and should be hex head to attach a door this heavy. Wasted a lot of time on this detail. Door quality is very good. Delivery was delayed five times even though it was close by. HD needs to reevaluate who they contract for this. Definitely a two person job.

This is our 2nd shower door from Aston. Beautiful door, great price. Our contractor was pleased with ease of installation.

The Screws that came with the Hinges are cheap and not heavy duty for a heavy shower glass. They kept on Stripping, even I had the right bit. I used my own hex screws. And did the job right! Poor Instructions also.

I am building out 2 showers and after getting this installed, I reframed the opening of my second shower to be able to buy a second one. It was that good!

The perfect shower enclosure

The store was a solid thickness, which was very important to us. It comes with edging that you put on the sides in the bottom to keep water in. We like open, clean, cluttered space. We did not put the edging that was provided to install on the door. The door open was put in on an angle, so that water did not in anyway, go outside the door . The quality of the glass and hardware is second to none and performs perfectly. This was a purchase that I would definitely make a second time if I needed it. Definitely recommend this product from this company. It’s absolutely beautiful.

Nice, heavy, thick glass! Hinges are smooth and the finish looks great! Well priced compared to everything else I found for my 24” shower opening! Install was quick& easy. Would definitely be faster with a second set of hands though, lol.

Very nice door

My wife and I installed this door without much hassle. Yes, it is a bit heavy and awkward, but she helped carry it in the house and then was able to easily steady it in the opening while we marked the holes. Honestly, the most difficult part of the installation was drilling this holes in the tile. Other than that, just take your time, follow the directions, and it should go well. (I highly recommend reading the installation instructions and familiarizing yourself with the parts before beginning the actual installation.)
