Beautiful wood with a lovely grain. The wood is pre-sanded which was a big help. I’ve put together many pieces of furniture and this was by far the easiest, as there was some pre- assembly done for you. Came together beautifully and is sturdy and perfect size for what I wanted it for.

Solid quality

This is a nice, solid, wood cabinet. Easy to put together. We whitewashed it, but would recommend the pre-stain wood conditioner before whitewash or other stain. Turned out nice

Well-built wood cabinet

I absolutely LOVE this cabinet. It is real wood, spacious, easy to assemble, and looks great. I like it unfinished (but will probably put a clear protector on it since it will be used in our master bathroom), but you can also paint or stain it because the wood is very smooth. I would not hesitate to purchase another one!

The quality of the wood is really good. The operation of the door is a bit stiff. I added WD forty to the hinges, sanded the top, bottom and sides of the door, which helped a bit. There are pre-made holes inside for placing the shelf for desired height. Delivered to my front door, assembly required. Overall good quality

Very impressed with the quality of the wood - the end result is a very solid cabinet. We did have a few issues with aligning the door properly - you may want to confirm that the manufacturers markings for the door hinges are exactly correct if you want a free swinging door that doesn't get stuck. Overall, a great product, and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a well made small cabinet that won't fall apart in a couple of years.

Very Well Made Product

This is a great product. It's the right size I was looking for, I am very limited on my space. After I got it together and filled it up I realize I needed another one, so I order another. My brother saw this and he really liked it very well, I may be ordering one for him also. Very well made and built. And it's very sturdy and holds a lot of my can goods. I was impress with the way it was so carefully packed, and how they packed it so the wood wouldn't get damage in shipping. I am very please with this product.

Very nice and heavy real wood cabinet. Not engineered MDF boards. Even the back is a sheet of thin plywood. It does require assembly. Does not appear to have a finish on it and is stainable. So Keep in mind even if you like the natural look, you probably will want to apply some type of sealant or oil. Would recommended using a pre-stain to even out the color.

Overall, I’m very happy with the cabinet. It’s good solid quality and it’s the perfect size for what I needed. It was fairly easy to assemble until I ran into a couple issues with the bottom piece. First, one of the parts that is screwed onto the bottom to attach it to the sides was put on about 1/8” off so the holes didn’t line up. Not a big problem, just 3 screws to move it and line it up correctly. Lastly, and the most annoying, the bottom was cut about 1/2 cm too deep so it was blocking the slot for the back panel to slide in. So I had to shave a bit off the back of the bottom piece for it to work. I applied my finish before assembling it so I seriously didn’t want to have to return it if I could help it, since I already had hours of work in, staining and finishing. Thankfully I had the tools and ability to make it work. Still happy with it and love how it turned out.

Pros and Cons

Everything was going well until I noticed the pre-drilled holes did not line up and it just went downhill from there. While placing the screws into the holes for the stationary shelves I could not get 2 of them to tighten. I decided to back them out and try again and to my consternation the internal metal " sleeves" for the screws came out attached to the screws themselves. They were loose in the holes instead of being permanent. I now have to go buy some wood glue to try to fix their inept product. The product is nice wood but would not recommend it for the price as there are too many things that the manufacturer has been lax in making correctly. Also the direction have incorrect labeling on the instructions and if you are new to assembling items it might be hard for you to interpret.

WORST DIRECTIONS ON THE PLANET

Whoever designed these directions needs to be fired. They combined like 5 steps into one step. The order makes NO sense. I had to take it apart like 4 times and reassemble. When I realized that one of the legs was shorter than the other, I threw everything in my car as is and returned it. What pathetic POS. If you have ANY trouble assembling furniture, I recommend skipping this one. And whoever says this was easy to assemble is either from the company or they are a magician.

I love this cabinet! It's perfect to store all my cookbooks. I received it in a week or so. The assembly was very easy and the parts were in perfect condition. I liked the adjustable shelves. I sanded it lightly, primed it, and painted it. I already have a lot of wood In my kitchen so i painted it. The wood was beautiful to just keep natural, too. I've only had it a month but I'm a very happy customer!

The cabinet was easy to assemble. However, when I got about the last step, installing the front door, I found the door to be warped. With the bottom of the door closed, the top was open by about a quarter inch. At this point, I wasn't going to disassemble the cabinet and try to return it. When I stained the cabinet to match the kitchen cabinets, one side didn't take the stain evenly. It was made up of short strips of wood, glued together to make a board. That also detracts from the appearance. I wouldn't have bought a hardwood cabinet if I wanted to simply paint it.

Great cabinet

Made from the wood of the rubber tree. It's solid and easy to assemble. Finishing it leaving the natural color is simple, fast and beautiful using a rub on poly. Staining it is a little more challenging. Sap from the rubber tree may get into some areas and prevent the stain from absorbing evenly. Using a pre-sealer does not make a difference. To insure the best absorption pre-sand using a 200 wet/dry sandpaper and an oil-based stain. Gel stains work more evenly. For those few areas that resist the stain pick a close-matching poly-stain satin color and brush on using an artist brush to blend in. Finally, apply a water based satin rub on finish. Once assembled, if the door does not stay closed properly, lay the piece backside on the floor, cover it for protection and place something heavy over it. Leave overnight. It should close properly after 24 hours.

Perfect in my kitchen

I needed a cabinet of a "certain size" and this cupboard was precisely the right size for me. I received it about 3 days after ordering it. It was well-packed and the heavy cardboard box was also strapped x 2, which I appreciated. The hardware packet was in a bag, which also had a strong string that was tied into the box so that even if the box had come open, the hardware would not have been lost. Plenty of padding in between the pieces and nothing was broken.
