60/40 undermount sink

When I decided to replace my kitchen counters, I had a 60/40 sink I loved, so I picked out this sink, as it was cheaper than another 60/40 sink, and it was a couple inches bigger too. The 60 sink is a little deeper than my old sink was, and the 40 side is a little shallower, but I have adjusted to this, and I don't mind this. Because the 60 side is bigger, cookie sheets and other pans fit better into the sink for washing. I never wiped dry my old sink when I used it, but I feel like I have to wipe this one because the water tends to leave water spots. After using mostly the left side sink (40) and wiping it out over the past month it it seems to be getting less spotty if I don't wipe it out so I feel like it improved.

Great Sink

I had my laminate replaced with granite. Previously had a builder grade 50/50 stainless steel sink that still looked good after 9 years. I researched stainless steel, composite granite, and single bowl sinks. Decided upon the Kraus 16 gauge 60/40 stainless steel sink after reading the great reviews. This sink is really deep and the left side is spacious for washing dishes. I keep the sinks dry after use to prevent water stains. So far I’ve used the Simple Green All Purpose Cleaner. It comes with metal grates to prevent the bottom of the sinks from getting scratched.

Love the sink! So pretty and the larger section is nice when washing large items, or use the little side (and therefore less water) for smaller items/loads. Also love the little drainer basket to catch garbage in. Don't particularly care for the racks - they're too tall so you have to waste water to make it deep enough to wash your dishes in. Also, they catch food, like carrot peelings, which takes time to rinse them off.

I purchased this for a kitchen renovation I completed in 2017. It's been in use since then. I love it. The basins are deep enough to accommodate large items. having the choice between the large and small side is extremely convenient. It has gotten a tremendous amount of use and has stood up well. Like me, it "cleans up well" and looks brand new when I give it a little spit and polish!!!

[Rewarded Review] Great size but frustrating upkeep

We installed this sink a month ago when we installed our granite counters. We love the overall and individual bowl size. I like that it came with the grates and strainers. The towel design that it came with is silly... nice towel, but why would you attache a metal grommet and hook that can easily scratch the sink surface??? The real issue I have with this sink is the upkeep. It holds on to water spots "for dear life." It got water spots after the first "splash" of water and those things refuse to budge. I followed manufacturer's instructions and can't get them completely out... even if we wipe the sink right after using (although that's not realistic to completely wipe down the sink after rinsing your produce, washing hands, etc.). We finally treated it with a car wax and it seems to have helped a little but it's not perfect.

Sink was shipped to house, great packaging and delivery. All parts as promised. Excellent quality sink. Just installed and it looks great, easy to clean. Great heavy gauge Stainless and insulated for noise. Been in a week now and couldn't be happier. The SS grates are a big plus. Fits like a glove in the curved sink. The plastic drain housing that some people didn't like are a good quality hard plastic with metal drains inside, Could see no reason what's so ever to purchase metal housings. Would recommend to anyone that wants a top quality sink for a reasonable price. Well worth the money. We will see how it last over time. With proper care, I see this lasting for many years to come.

I love this sink

My new sink was just installed last week. When we opened the box, my general contractor's first comment was "nice sink!" It was very well packaged for shipment and even came in a bag, which came in handy to protect the sink when my granite countertop fabricator asked to take the sink so that they could cut the sink opening in their shop (rather than onsite). The sink is heavy grade stainless and comes with nice racks. I think the basket strainer is a nice idea! Although you can buy a less expensive sink, it came with the racks and strainer, and I think it is a good value.
