Lettering wears too fast

Had to purchase this to replace the last one I purchased there because the numbers were wearing off already.

Incorrect markings

This gauge is incorrectly marked. Rain gauges with straight, parallel sides, and without a large collection funnel at the top should have markings that match up with any standard inch tape measure. The 5 inch mark on this gauge actually measures 6.8 inches. There are multiple YouTube videos made by meteorologists that demonstrate how to make a rain gauge and they all use a standard inch ruler to mark the collection device.

Poor workmanship of the rain guage tube.

The bottom of the rain guage glass tube base bottom broke within two days after putting into the holder. The glass that the tube is not tempered or thick enough to handle the weather elements.
