Townhouse Light Post

Did not like that the base of this light tapers so does not fit down as far on the post as the old one. Therefore, I will have to paint the post.

Got this post top light to go in front of my house. It is rated for 100W incandescent or 10W LED bulb. It uses a standard screw in type bulb. It comes with wire nuts and the hardware you need to put it together. The post is sold separately. There is no on/off or photocell in this fixture since that is usually in the post.

Beautiful bronze light

This KICHLER Townhouse 1-Light Tannery Bronze Outdoor Lamp Post Light with Clear Beveled Glass Panels is a beautiful lamp post light and looks super sophisticated but also timeless. The bronze is a throwback, but looks really nice with the beveled glass.

A Gorgeous outdoor post lamp!

The size of this 24" tall Kichler light is impressive and the tannery bronze finish is awesome. The shape of this light and the beveled glass make it look so elegant! The bronze finish is well done. It arrived safely packed in a plain cardboard box. Assembly is easy and instructions are included. All that is required is adding your preferred light bulb (up to 100W Incandescent or 20W LED), screwing the top on with the 2 included matching screws, screwing the finial on the top, and connecting the wires to AC power with the 3 included wire connectors. Then secure the light to your 3" post or whatever base you are using. I plan on installing this on a fence post, so I have ordered the pier mount base - Home Depot internet #205063221 (less than $10, and includes a ground wire). It has arrived, and this base matches this bronze light finish perfectly! All I need to do now is to run a switched power line to the post to finish the installation. I am very pleased with this Kichler light.

Nice looking.

We were looking for a new post light, this one looked good so i ordered it. it arrived in 4 days well packed and in new condition. the first thing i noticed is, it is heavier then the average post light, we have been shopping. it feels sturdy. the second thing i noticed, it looks great, very nice looking in person. the install is basic and there is hardware. we love it.

Beautiful light fixture

I got this light for my light pole I installed next to the drive to light up the area. After installing the pole and wiring I wired up the light and light sensor that came with the pole. Three screws hold the light to the pole and after installing the bulb there are two screws that hold the light top to the bottom of the fixture. It really made the area pop with looks and additional light. It came with everything you need to install and was very easy to install.

Nice style

I added this for my front walk way. It has a nice style and adds a good amount of light. It is for use with 110 volt power. I have low voltage Malibu lights so I purchased a low voltage 12/24 LED bulb. I connected the light to the transformer of my low voltage lights and it works great. This is a great option if you already have low voltage lights. It will save you the cost of running a 110 volt power wire to the light.

A classic lamp light

The Kichler Tannery Lamp Post Light is designed after the classic gas lights of the 1800’s. The bronze finish gives it a weathered look, but still clean and finished. The fixture holds a single bulb with a standard medium base. An amber Edison style bulb would look great and add to the classic design. The fixture has a standard 3 wire connection (Line, Neutral, and Ground). It can work with a switched connection or with a dusk-to-dawn sensor. It fits a standard 3” diameter pole and is held securely in place with 3 thumbscrews. The top is secured with two thumbscrews for easy access for replacing the bulb or cleaning out spider webs.

Big, beautiful light!

This light is slightly more than 2 feet tall overall. Beautifully finished with the Bronze finish and beveled glass. The thing that I like most of all is the fact that it uses a single standard base light bulb. I have a 100W Equivalent LED bulb for mine. With the beveled glass in the top, this will give off a lot of light. All aluminum means no rust and it should be beautiful for years to come.

Beautiful

This arrived fast and thankfully not broken. When we purchased our home it had an outdoor pole light and fell in love with it. We will be waiting for our electrician to come and install it as the previous owner welded the older fixture to the post so we don’t want to get into that can of worms. This is such a nice fixture the bronze is really crisp. My husband and I usually would install this but the weld is not something we feel comfortable with so it’ll be a month before we will get to see this beauty light up.

Looks Great ~ Very Well Made ~ Easy To Install ~ Simple Wiring

I got this lantern to mount on a post in our front yard. Assembly is simple and it goes together quickly. It is to be mounted on a metal post or other round mounting point. The wiring is simple Black, White & Copper Ground. You can use a regular bulb but we used an Edison Type Old Fashioned Bulb that looked INCREDIBLE!!! Once it was all hooked up I couldn't believe how it transformed the whole look of the front yard.

Tall, very handsome BRONZE outdoor lamp

This is probably one of the classic and great examples of an old fashion outdoor carriage lamp. The overall effect is outstanding as it just seems to have made what is usually a traditional outdoor lamp into in my opinion a work of art. The fixture just give such an quality of style and elegance. I am impressed and highly recommend this outdoor lamp.

Nice looking light. Stands tall.

This 3-inch post light from Kichler installed easily, in under 10 minutes. My old post light stopped working, presumably because it was old and water got into the housing and corroded the wires, since I tested the bulb and it was not blown. The old post light was small in size, and a bit dated, so I decided to replace it with this post light. The metal housing on this new light is painted with a light bronze finish. The crystal clear glass panels are beveled, and it uses a standard base bulb (not included). Because the bulb is visible through the glass, I installed an Edison-style LED bulb. The light output is good. The fixture is modern and stands taller than the one it replaced, which is more to my liking. The top fits tightly onto the fixture body, and this fixture is rated for wet locations, so water should not be an issue. A few yellow wire nuts are included. This fixture also is available in a pendant and wall mount, so you can update the entire exterior of your home.

Kichler Townhouse bronze colored cast aluminum lamp post fixture with beveled glass

Another great product from Kichler . This lamp post light is gorgeous with the beautiful beveled glass and the great rich bronze finish in an all aluminum framework. This is an outdoor light that will withstand the elements. Fits on a standard 3 inch OD lamp post. Has 3 screws at the base of this light to attach to your lamp post. Great to light up a driveway, walkway or patio. It is 24 inches tall and the largest part of this fixture is 9.25 inches in diameter. Takes a standard base bulb ( 100 watt max ) E26 base. UL listed for safe use in wet locations. This fixture comes in 2 parts, the top needs attached to the bottom part with 2 screws that hold the top in place. Comes with 3 wire nuts and instructions. It takes one light bulb. NO bulb included, I personally like the bulb I put in which is a 2600K ( color) LED bulb in with the dusk to dawn feature built into the bulb itself which is great.( Home Depot carries various size and wattage bulbs. ) Rated at 40 watts but only draws 7 watts for energy saving. Light is rated for 120 volt AC. Throws a lot of light out there. Fixture weighs 4.6 pounds. Easy installation for the DIYer. Great lamp post fixture and corrosion resistance. I highly recommend this great looking fixture to light up any outdoor area that you want.

Stylish post light and great value.

This KICHLER Townhouse 1-Light Tannery Bronze Outdoor Lamp Post Light with Clear Beveled Glass Panels is a very stylish post light. This 110v hardwired lamp allows better lighting over solar units as various watt bulbs can be used according to one's brightness needs. I recommend LED bulbs for longer life and energy savings in this fixture. The build quality is solid and being cast in aluminum will last many years. The unit fits on a standard lamp post and Kichler offers those as well. The three-wire hook up is simple and includes a ground. I am using 12-2 uf-b cable for my service and this makes for an easier power installation. The Home Depot offers many options for wiring and can offer wiring advice in the electrical department if one chooses a self-install. I am very pleased with the quality and beauty this light offers. A very nice addition to my home's sidewalk.

Very upscale

We needed extra light at the end of our driveway . We are remodeling a farmhouse and this outdoor post light fit right in . It is very easy to install the instructions are clear and concise . I followed them step by step and had a light at the end of my driveway in no time . And the way it lights up that area is short of amazing .It has a very high end appearance with a practical use what more can you ask for in a light I recommend this light to everyone

The Kichler Townhouse 1-Light Tannery Bronze Outdoor Lamp Post Light is a beautiful and classy fixture. The bronze finish is nice and dark, and I love the beveled glass panels. They give it such a high-quality look. It requires one Type A (classic/standard household lightbulb), max 100W incandescent or max 20W LED. It will be a beautiful addition to our yard!
