We do like this light post, and it was easy to install. I think it looks pretty good, the only issue that I had with it, is that although it was advertised correctly, the cap portion is just slightly smaller than the original pole size. It fits, but it is a tight fit and I would tell everyone be very careful with trying to match original equipment that is over 20 years old. It is also suitable for a three-wire connection. Contact an electrician if you have four wires to connect to!

The 3 holes that hold the light fixture to the post are not threaded. You have to drill 3 new holes and use sheet metal or machine screws. It's just an inconvenience but the fixture is great and will last 10+ years although UV rays destroys the finish and the paint finish chips off after 5 years.

We purchased this lantern to match the lights already on the outside of our house. Also I wanted a single bulb fixture which would take the larger LEDs. It was easy to install after the wiring was in place. I installed it with a dusk to dawn light sensor so it would be on any time we returned home and stay on throughout the night. With the LED it lights a good portion of the front of our house. We are happy with the purchase and have no issues with what seems to be a good quality product.

I love these. Gives my driveway a traditional look. Solid construction. All aluminum and metal build. No cheap plastic components. Can't think of any.

Well built, classic style light. I installed 8 of these about 10 years ago. Never had any problems. I bought this one to replace one broken by a soccer ball.
