Looks great

I hate most styles of vanity lights, but this one looks so sleek and fits our bathroom perfectly.

This is a nice light that I’m using with 60W LED bulbs that allow you to switch among 5 different light temperatures. Installing it, however, was a royal pain. The instructions were written for a completely different fixture (from the same company). Barely intelligible. Unclear. Structurally, the back face plate is attached to the inner plate (already mounted on the wall) by 2 screws each on the top and bottom edge. Most folks probably want to mount this several inches above the top of the vanity, bringing the top edge pretty close to the ceiling. In my case, I could barely get a 3” Philips head screwdriver between the loose screw head and the ceiling. Poor design. Ditto for attaching the glass shades. Each is secured by screwing the chrome socket ring into the socket. The plastic? threads, however, are poorly aligned, making screwing the ring in snugly an exercise in patience. And you can’t easily apply more hand strength to turn it harder because an adult man’s hand barely fits inside. Oh, and the socket on the right side was crooked - had to bend that into place. Again, once I managed to tighten things up, it works well and looks great. But the installation sucked, frankly.

Love the way this looks in our downstairs bath. Matches really well with all the Koehler Chrome fixtures.

Remodeler Beware

These Fixtures look great but the light is very bright. When mounting at the old fixture location, they hung over our existing mirror. It was easier to cut the mirror than change the electrical mount location. As a final note, we changed the clear glass cover for frosted ones to suppress some of the brightness. Wish we had looked a little closer at how they fit before purchasing!

Better in person

Looks better in person and arrived quickly. Great for small bathroom, brightens the room.
