Cute but was damaged ...chip board and it was visible had to try a black marker over it....material cheap...but looks good from a distance.

A piece was damaged in shipping. Some pieces didn't fit together properly & caused damage. No real instructions, just pictures.

I have had this for a few years and it looks so real. I have had a couple other electric fireplaces but this one looks like a wood burner stove. Works great too!

Its cute and serves its purpose for substitute heat. It has a few gaps in the front but were gonna find some cute tiles or something to dress it up and cover them. For the money I paid I wasnt expecting perfection. We love it!

I have arthritis, so I had my uncle help me put it together. It took us about 4 hours, going slowly and following instructions, to complete the fireplace. There were only two parts where it was a little confusing, because the instructions were different than the pictures of the product. Specifically, when you have to attach the grey parts to the sides. The book said to put those on the inside on top of the side slats...they have to be jutting out in order to frame the fireplace insert, however. Also, a tip regarding the front arching insert: gently push down on it in order to get rid of the small gap you'll have when finishing putting it together. It works beautifully, warmed up our room so well we actually had to turn it off. There was only one defect, a slight blemish on the top part on the side. Other than that, nothing else was damaged, broken, or missing parts. All in all, a good purchase.

If you follow explicit instructions it goes together easily. You will need another pair of hands at the end. But mostly you can assemble by yourself.

I am very happy with the taller size of this fireplace. It was challenging to put together, as other reviewers had stated but it looks nice and substantial. Our home was built in 1907 and it fits in beautifully. I had wanted it in white but it was out of stock so I got black and I’m glad that I did. It has a nice size mantel for decorating. We will also appreciate the extra heat this winter.
