Sticks out to far
AWFUL quality. Broke the second time I pulled it down/retracted it. The bracket is poor quality material with very small screws that hold the brackets/ends together. These screws popped out of their tracts and the bracket bent/popped out. Put the screws back in and they subsequently popped right back out when trying to re-mount it. Absolute garbage.
Very flimsy and not a true 45in wide. The outer frame was shy of 45 which made the shade itself closer to 44 inches wide. This would have left too much of a gap on the sides. Item also arrived damaged and was returned. Home Depot gets a ???? on its return options and ease of return. Super easy in store return.
These shades are made for outside mount only. I don’t see how the spring tension can be adjusted without taking it down. It doesn’t mount with a pin going into the mounting bracket like most. Instead the mounting brackets have a tab that holds the shade up.
So far very good! Easy install (for my handyman!) easy operation and good coverage and sun blocking. Would recommend.

Bought two of these but the one came bent up - I wanted black out blinds but these have a large space on the sizes where light comes in. Not worth sending back. Total garbage!

These were easy to install and they block the light and heat extremely well.
They work in terms of blocking sun, but were difficult to install and are not super responsive or easy to use.

Very disappointed. I just had Home Depot install three of the black out shades along with Bali and Veneta custom shades. The difference is striking. I purchased these "cut in store" shades because I ordered shades to be cut that were not correct. Returned those and replaced with off these off shelf
